I was there, still am. Desantis went along with Trump and the CDC for about 2 weeks, then pulled the plug. Florida got trashed by msm and quite a few here for “opening too soon!!!”

As events have unfolded since the 2020 election here in the U.S., I would make four points here that stack the deck very heavily against someone like Ron DeSantis:
1. I have come to despise lawyers in public office.
2. I have come to despise career politicians.
3. It's much harder to corrupt a billionaire.
4. Anyone who worked as a Federal prosecutor should be given all the public respect one would give to a child molester.

I believe the photo at the top of the thread is from the room where DeSantis was giving regular press briefings during the COVID fiasco. DeSantis and his state health Nazi were announcing bar and restaurant closures as late as mid-June of 2020.

Quit lying. He never said nothing was shut down. He corrected course quickly and pushed to reopen and prevent vaccine mandates if any kind.
