Your President Putin’s Russia is imperialistic, violating national sovereignty :

1. Destroying Chechnya to the ground to keep it part of the imperium - but after failing, then bribing Kadyrov to stay
2. Conquering South Ossetia from Georgia in 2008
3. Conquering Crimea and de-facto the Donetsk People’s Republic and Luhansk People’s Republic from Ukraine in 2014
4. Attempting to create a vassal conquered state of Ukraine in Feb 2022

We would never do that. That dumb Putin. He should have come up with a slogan like manifest destiny and all would be right with the world.

They could pass something like the Indian Removal Act, call it the Ukrainian Removal Act, have their high court bless it, and in a few years all the uncivilized tribes would be moved out to some remote location the size of eastern Olahoma. Problem solved and it would all be voluntary, some more voluntary than others.

Putin forgot to say it was God's will. He is stubborn and has not yet conformed to the American way.

In modern times, the United States foments the overthrow of governments in Europe. Agents Jake and Elwood, under the guidance of Sister Mary Stigmata, are on a mission from God.

Going back to the "purchase" of Manhattan island, we stole it fair and square, and that makes all the difference.
