Representative Don Bacon (R-NE) said Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press” that he believes a “majority” of Republicans believe the United States should “stand by Ukraine.”
Anchor Chuck Todd said, “You’ve been a supporter of the Ukrainians and aiding them here, given what we watched over the weekend, what do you say to your House Republicans who have been a bit soft on Putin after what we saw over the weekend? Do you think this will change some minds in your conference?”

I guess I’m in the minority then.
I wouldn’t have sent the first dime.
Still wouldn’t.
I will not support any Republican that supports Ukraine. Period.
Which is one reason, among others, that I don’t identify as a Republican.
“A billion here, a billion there, and pretty soon you’re talking real money.”
F Chuck Todd NEVER interviews a Republican that has not been fully certified by the Uniparty.
Perhaps someone can ask Bacon what the UN is for.
Ukraine is about regime change in Russia spending billions to wear down Russia from within.
It’s like the same old policy of George W. Bush but instead of using US soliders its using Ukrainian Nazis to bleed Russia to death.
Nothing new from the GOP its wicked and ungodly to do this to use others.
It’s been revealed in the UK case of ISIS follower Shamima Begum that she and another 15-year old girl were trafficked into Syria to join ISIS by a Canadian intelligence operative.
Canadian intelligence in cahoots with the CIA indeed Jeffey Epstein teenage sex trafficker was an “intelligence asset”.
These Republicans who support the regime change wars in Syria and now Russia using Ukraine are in the “Jeffrey Epstein League” from Lindsey Graham on down.
I deliberately do not send Republicans in general a dime over their support for the Godless Ukraine War.
Those who oppose the war deserve our support the rest have consigned themselves to the “Infernal Regions”.
We do not any longer live in a serious world. This is the most transparently brain-dead question I have seen posed in some time, and that’s saying a lot.
Support how? Some of us would want to support Ukraine with well wishes and little more. Outside of Russia and its immediate orbit, who would not offer support via well wishes? At the other extreme, some would make support whatever it takes, with no conditions, caveats, limits.
This poll offers no useful insights. None.
We are mostly idiots these days, I imagine including myself. I take pride only in being more self-aware of my shortcomings even if I chalk much of my ignorance up to the high volumes of very low-quality data churned out by bad actors. It is hard to extract any reasonable signal from so much noise.
The internet must be back on in St. Petersburg.
Bacon isn’t Kosher.
Same here..not ONE penny..as far as Im concerned its nothing more than a massive money laundering operation
The internet still on where I live barely though.
But the 77th Brigade disinformation unit of the British Army always has good internet service.
Proof positive that the Republican Party is a private club for lobbyists, corporatists, country clubbers and a dwindling collection of unimaginative voters.
“I guess I’m in the minority then.”
You’re not alone. And we should send them the bill for what they have already pilfered and most likely will never pay for.
Of course they can say what are you going to do about it if we don’t? I guess we will have to tell them we can start sending missiles to Russia. Goose/gander.

Weird how we never see polls on this. It’s all “dude, just trust me.”
somebody is asking to be primaried
armistice - to save lives
plebiscites - to put democracy to work
The mess in Ukraine is because of an untrustworthy election.
