Looking at Lorenz's Twitter feed is priceless. In one thread, she thanked people for wearing masks to her panels at VidCon 2023, a convention dealing with digital content. That thread brought out the masks 'r us loons in a big way and this gem perfectly captures how unmoored they are from reality.

If you are wearing a mask, and are able to smell the vanilla extract I just opened, then the mask is utterly useless against virus particles far smaller than the vanilla molecules. One thing to pay attention to, though, is that many of the loons are claiming Covid is responsible for the rise in heart attacks and strokes. We need to be aware that groundwork is being laid.
