More specifically, as the article reports.
  1. Harris, anytime.
  2. Trump, no late term (21+ weeks, about 1% of abortions)
  3. Scott, 15 weeks
  4. DeSantis, 6 weeks
  5. Pence, none

So, what is the correct limitation? For myself, while it would be best to have none, I do think we need to allow exceptions for the life of the mother, rape, and incest. Overall, I think pre-heartbeat, which is around 6 weeks.

Pence support 15 weeks “as a minimum nationwide standard” on abortion.

For me, there is no abortion permitted. However, I can only guide my life and cannot guide another person’s life. I can’t stop a woman from getting an abortion if that what she wants, but I should not be made to pay for any part of that abortion, including subsidizing Planned Parenthood’s pencils and paper.

‘Exceptions for the life of the mother, rape and incest’..

……which is exactly what President Trump said
…..and ONLY those exceptions

The life of the mother has always been an option……even though some mothers would choose their child

There are known accounts of women who have been raped, but finding they were pregnant, chose to bring the child to fruition/ term

Nothing Federal about abortion. EVERY state has had it on its books and about 1900..not one state allowed abortion.

There is no logical argument for a time frame for abortion. It’s either a human baby, or it’s not. Yes, there is a political argument, but it’s a stupid argument in relation to the seriousness of killing a human baby.

SCOTUS made clear that this is a STATE issue, and should remain so.
There is NO NEED for any of these folks to weigh-in or sponsor any other opinion.

But, as long as the media get away with saying SCOTUS ruled abortion not legal, the arguments will continue.

Both Jefferson and Orwell were right...

Trump never met a big centralized federal government he didn’t love. This is par for the course for Emperor Trump.

Right now the issue has returned to the states.

States that allow infants born alive to die after attempted abortions are murdering citizens. A baby becomes a US citizen AT BIRTH. That violates equal protection and due process. It is unconstitutional.

States are also using federal tax dollars to fund abortion.

States are allowing (encouraging and incentivizing) the trafficking of human body parts in support of their murder-for-hire crimes against humanity.

These things demand intervention at the federal level.

I’d support further restrictions, but we’re already looking at Civil War to stop leftwing insanity anyway. Might as well just get it over with.

I respectfully disagree. Unless you want to put something about abortion in the Constitition, there should be no federal role. Alito was right to hand the issue back to the democratic process in the states. I am fine with each state coming up with their own view and their own solutions -that’s what federalism is all about. That does not take any pro-life agenda off the table of Conservatives, which Conservatives can continue to carryout in the states.
