The owner of the Wagner private military contractor made his most direct challenge to the Kremlin yet on Friday, calling for an armed rebellion aimed at ousting Russia’s defense minister. The security services reacted immediately by opening a criminal investigation into Yevgeny Prigozhin and calling for his arrest.
In a sign of how seriously the Kremlin was taking the threat, security was heightened in Moscow and in Rostov-on-Don, which is home to the Russian military headquarters for the southern region and also oversees the fighting in Ukraine.
Prigozhin claimed Saturday that his forces had reached Rostov, saying they faced no resistance from young conscripts at checkpoints and adding that his forces “aren’t fighting against children.”
“But we will destroy anyone who stands in our way,” he said. “We are moving forward and will go until the end.”
He claimed that the chief of the General Staff, Gen. Valery Gerasimov, scrambled warplanes to strike Wagner’s convoys, which were driving alongside ordinary vehicles.
Prigozhin said Wagner field camps in Ukraine were struck by rockets, helicopter gunships and artillery fire on orders from Gerasimov following a meeting with Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, at which they decided to destroy Wagner.

Seems like the IQ’s have dropped on this board...ever since Desantis and Ukraine clowns stormed it...how is this going to work exactly Russia as 150 million people....it is simple like that...this is no third world country.

The only mistake is the cascade of events. The Russians did quit fighting because the Bolsheviks took over. The Russians were still fighting under Kerensky (but deserting en masse).
Do be aware Russia has an army of 1.25 million, and their Congress ( Duma) authorized an increase to 1.5 million.
Meanwhile, after three weeks of heavy losses in the “grand offensive”, the Ukies put out yet another emergency mobilization order issued to their western provinces ( the portion of Ukies that have not yet “ felt” the war)…that should be just about scraping the bottom of their 18-60 year old forced conscription barrel….
But don’t worry, western MSM tells us Vlad is still running out of ammunition and weapons any day now.

The survival of the October Revolution in 1917 depended on under 3000 men (the Regiment of Latvian Riflemen), at the right place at the right time.
Napoleon landed in France from Corsica in 1815 with 1500 men. He had control of France in a month.
In unsettled conditions a small force can achieve disproportionate results. It can set off cascade effects, it can disrupt an unprepared opposition, it can seize a critical location, etc.
I’m not saying this is what’s going to happen in Russia, now, but its certainly possible.
And this sort of thing (Kornilov AND the Bolsheviks) depends on fortune, personalities, circumstances, etc. The Bolsheviks survived because they threw some exceptionally lucky dice. Unlike Kornilov.
Don’t be surprised if China Moves troops into Siberia to . . . Uh . . . protect it (yeah. that’s the ticket) for Putin.
There is no political support for Proigozhin maybe 0.05% max what you hear is MSM propaganda; inside Russia there is no such support.
What exactly does he know about running a country...just switch positions and think if that could happen in US...sounds insane right...that is what it is...Russia is not an African country...how will he get Russian nuclear launch codes...it is just more Ukraine propaganda to distract from failed offensive my any measure.

They will never be able to admit Russia lost the Ukraine war.
They’re not going to fight against battle hardened Wagner troops returning from Bakhmut.
How can this be? We’ve been told for months tat the Wagner troops were being wiped out.
What good does having Russias nuclear launch codes help Putin at this moment? Is Biden or Xi going to come parachuting to his aid if he threatens them with the codes? Does he use the weapons on his own cities and people?
He might launch a tactical nuke at a Wagner or other column approaching Moscow...
It is a long way to move armor. Fortunately for Wagner there are tanks waiting for them in Moscow.

It will work only if the Russian military stands down. It is being reported the Wagner group just took over the southern ministry of defense headquarters in Rostov. No shots fired. This is historic if true. At a minimum it will end the war with Ukraine.
