NATO is also desperately playing catch-up in Active Protection Systems (which the Israelis have been pointing out for years) and a few other areas.

Indeed. I seriously doubt Kiev can even muster sufficient forces to take practical advantage of any significant gains the UAF might happen to make. It’s a pitiful situation. A humanitarian disaster that Washington and London Deep State actors are ultimately responsible for instigating, but for which they will not countenance a reasonable solution to save further losses. May sanity be reinvented and appreciated again.

Note: Why even here is it almost like Trump-Russia was never exposed for what it really was? There is almost no appreciation even among Trump’s supporters for the role played by Hillary/McCain/Biden/Obama/Deep State Russiagate disinformation campaign in setting up the very bloody disaster that began unfolding yearly last year and continues to this day. It was never just about Trump. Yet almost none see.

More recent ones don't even have to expose the fuselage to fire on vehicular or low level airborne targets - they just stick their masthead sensor (on top of their rotor) over whatever cover or concealment they're hiding behind, locate the target, pitch backwards and salvo off guided munitions.

Take another look at the history. It was Ukraine that was petitioning to join NATO, and it was NATO that repeatedly said "no."

Was that before or after we overthrew the government and stuck a comedian in charge?

“Also, deploying them properly takes intel, lots of training, support, parts, institutional knowledge, dedicated units etc.”

We gave the mujahideen these weapons and they did a pretty good job against the Soviets.

Oh, stop with the Russian propaganda. Madian was a popular uprising and Yanukovych was removed from office by the democratically elected parliament after he fled the country. Additionally, Zelensky was elected by an overwhelming majority in a national election. But, of course, none of this matters to those who want to justify Russia's land-grab. For them Ukraine is properly a subject state to the new Russian empire and should have known how to behave.

“Ukraine is properly a subject state to the new Russian empire and should have known how to behave. “

Correct.

Ukraine is a Russian possession, and always has been.

And they will reassert that ownership.

The U.S. Army has known since at least 1972 that helicopters vs. tanks, choppers win. They have proven that time after time.

Do you really believe that this all started Feb of 2022, with no history?
That Russia could just “go home” and life would be sunshine and rainbows in eastern Ukrainian?

You really should read some history. Originally Moscow belonged to Kyiv, not the other way around. Then, after the Mongols, it was ruled by Poland-Lithuania from the 14th century. Eastern Ukraine did not come under Moscow's rule until the 17th century, and western Ukraine in the 18th. In the end, Ukraine belongs do no one except the Ukrainians; and they have made it quite clear that they do not wish to be ruled by Moscow.

But it’s all, mostly, failing here. Bradleys, tanks, anti armor, AAA, the money,l... all of it.

So tell me why. I don’t know everything.

No, it started in 2013 when Moscow tried to block the EU-Ukraine agreement. When this failed Moscow then invaded in 2014. The history has been Moscow's continued aggression against Ukraine, refusing to respect it as an independent state. The Russians just cannot accept that Ukraine is no longer a part of a greater Russia.

Nonsense. Ukraine is a former Soviets state, just like Russia. Both are founding constituent members of the USSR. Both corrupt sh*tholes, unworthy of our attention.
Stop idolizing Ukraine and let ‘em fight… all they want is our tax dollars.

Hey, that is exactly what Kadyrov stated when taking Marioupol…but to be fair, he was quoted as thanking senile Joe and Allah for the gifts….many have already been found in African nations.

We will know when they reach here, our commercial jet (s) will be reported as “ fuel tank explosion”.

Nonsense. Ukraine is a former Soviets state, just like Russia.

The Soviet Union no longer exists. Ukraine joined it as an equal state as Russia, with the right to secede. This was recognized by the Soviet constitution. The modern Russian Federation was a member state of the Soviet Union, not the entire union itself. This, unfortunately, the Russians will not accept. They continue to have dreams of grandeur, viewing themselves as the continuation of the greater Russian empire. Those days are over. The Russians have no claims over the rule of Ukraine.

Oh, stop with the Russian propaganda.

You may be right. CNN has long been know to propagate Russian propaganda

Sunday, in his interview with CNN, Obama admitted that the United States “had brokered a deal to transition power in Ukraine.”

How about giving the full story? The violence started with the attack by the pro-Russians against the pro-Ukrainians. The Russians were not "herded" into the Trade Center, they occupied it by force. The fire most likely started accidentally when the two sides were throwing petro bombs at each other. But no, Russians propagandists must use hyperbole and portray the events as a fairy tale of peaceful Russians being rounded up and deliberately killed by blood thirsty "Neo Nazis." Anything to justify Russia's aggression.

The Israelis changed that dynamic more than a bit with Trophy. Something the Army was a bit slow to realize until Syria.
