Feb 25, 2022, Russian's moved into Hostomel. They took up positions around the 'Fora' supermarket. From here they set an ambush attacking 12 vehicles. The ambush reportedly resulted in the death of 11 and wounding of 15 civilian's.

Given the universal Ukrainian use of human shields, I’d say Russia has done very, very well in avoiding civilian casualties
