Hunter Biden and his baby mama have privately settled their child support dispute in Arkansas, according to a source close to the first son.
Lunden Roberts, 32, the mother of Hunter’s long-unacknowledged 4-year-old daughter, agreed to her $20,000 monthly child support payments being slashed after she showed up in person to his deposition in Little Rock last week.
Roberts’ lawyer, Clint Lancaster, told The Post late Thursday that final terms were still to be determined and declined to confirm that his client had agreed to a reduced monthly payment of $5,000.

Hunter couldn’t risk continuing to have to appear in person. The judge wasn’t going to back down on that requirement and each time he had to appear it reminded everyone of the Biden family corruption. He also couldn’t risk a continued spotlight on his and his family’s finances.

It’s quite possible that BIDEN PR team put out there the reduced amount. Which makes him look like he “won”.
As far as the last name for the daughter, I always thought that was a stunt. Why would any woman want her daughter named after a Biden? She needs to stop using her daughter as a prop.

I was an expert witness in a child support case in Pennsylvania. Ordinarily, child support adjustments are retroactive to the date the current evaluation paperwork was filed.
I found a court case where the defendent misrepresented his income at the previous hearing three years prior. This made the child support increase retroactive to the filing date for the hearing three years ago, not the current filing.
Had a difficult time convincing my client’s attorney that was the law, but finally did it and got her over $100,000 in arrearages.
Depending upon the wording in the agreement, this should apply to Hunter when they prove he got millions in bribes.
A big lump sum payment with a reduced child support payment makes sense. Mom gets paid and Biden can publicize the $5K monthly payment to show he’s a responsible adult. $5K a month is enough to appear generous. Most child support payments are very much smaller. Everybody shuts up and the big guy doesn’t have to deal with it during the election.
A few inquiries from the FBI into her previously private life no doubt had a wonderful calming effect on her demands.

First off, no one here hold Hunter in greater contempt than I. That said, we learned the he’d stipulated a couple years ago to a $20k/ mo order. Obviously the purpose was to keep her quiet. Child support is done on a calculator. I’m not familiar with the Arkansas calculator but ran numbers through the CA calculator, and found she’d need to prove his income was about $340K/mo for the calculator to yield that order, or about $4M per year. That’s a lot to prove
The $5k seems a little low. I don’t have the calculator here, but that number would have him making $20k/mo, more or less. I think he’s laying low on the grifting these days, and that could very well be all that was provable at this time
