In his job interview with voters during the 2020 election, Joe Biden assured Americans that the Hunter Biden laptop was Russian disinformation, he never had any dealings with his family’s business partners and that his son was innocent of any wrongdoings.
While the first two claims were shattered long ago, the 46th president has held firm on the last. “My son has done nothing wrong,” he proclaimed just a few short weeks ago.
The criminal information filed Tuesday in federal court charging Hunter Biden with intentionally avoiding payment of federal taxes and lying about his drug use to buy a handgun debunks Joe Biden’s last line of defense.
Conservatives from House Speaker Kevin McCarthy on down derided the plea agreement as a “sweetheart deal” and a “traffic ticket” emblematic of a “two-tiered” justice system because it spares Hunter Biden from prison while leaving Donald Trump facing hundreds of years in prison on 71 felonies in two separate indictments.
But the plain language of the deal threatens to boomerang on the Biden Democrat agenda for 2024 that has made one of its centerpieces harsher gun control and an IRS crackdown on tax cheats.
Hunter Biden has agreed to “two counts of willful failure to pay federal income tax” and can have dismissed a felony charge of “possession of a firearm by a person who is an unlawful user,” holdover Trump-appointed U.S. Attorney David Weiss wrote the court Tuesday outlining the plea deal.

What credibility?
They think this “slap on the wrist” will make all the Biden’s crimes investigations go away but I have the feeling it just made it much worse.
Just puts the spotlight on the 2-tier JustUs system.
Comer has issued a statement that he isn’t stopping the investigating he is doing.
The Biden’s like the Clintoon’s may never see the inside of a prison for their crimes but they will be judged guilty in the eyes of most Americans and the world.
Anyone with a functioning brain knew that he would not get any significant punishment for his crimes. Meanwhile, the J6 people are still in solitary and Trump faces more indictments.
Just out of curiosity, does this outcome give those already convicted of the same, grounds for appeals?

Joe was giving a speech to a group of people at the White House, and Hunter's comment came over a separate mic. Biden had just taken the oath of office the day before. It looks like this plea deal has been in the works for a very long time, but was held back as it would be way too obvious to cut a plea deal the day after your father moved into the White House. They had to wait to announce it, and make sure it happened before Joe left the White House for good. The appearance of any actual investigation having taken place since that day has all been fake. I'm sure the plea deal struck at that time was already signed by both parties, which means any restrictions he was under, are already over and done with. What a bunch of kabuki theater.

I recall many years ago speaking with an IRS agent. Some of 0bammerz cabinet selections got special treatment for “inaccurate” Federal tax returns.
Very nice IRS agent confirmed that the job had become more difficult because everyone recognized how unfair the system is.
Can we quit pretending their are two classes of people in America. One is the insiders who are above the law and the second is the outsiders who pay for the insiders.
Democrats and socialists don't care about the deal, because the issue is always the revolution. The rest of the nation hasn't believed a thing SloJoe has said for at least the last ten years if not longer, so nothing can make his credibility worse.

As a criminal tax lawyer for a near quarter-century, I confirm how rare & extraordinary the #HunterBiden plea deal is. Indeed, the deal violates DOJ Tax official policy, where Biden’s DOJ prohibit prosecutors from even offering this deal to people who did far less than Hunter.

Hunter should be jailed and that too will negatively effect Brandon, and probably in a worse way. This is because since he gets a sweetheart deal the MSM will barely cover it and instead spin it that it was a slap on the wrist because the offense was so minor.

Hunter will NEVER be jailed, just wishful thinking.
We know the FBI and the DOJ violate their own laws and policies every day of the week. They make exceptions for whoever they want.
