Christie: Maybe Trump should’ve gone through boxes with classified documents instead of golfing
The Hill ^ | 06/20/2023 | JULIA MUELLER

GOP presidential candidate Chris Christie suggested Tuesday that former President Trump should have “skipped a couple of rounds of golf” to go through boxes containing classified materials after Trump said he did not have time to do so in response to a subpoena.

“He said the reason he didn’t give the documents back was because he just so very busy, and he didn’t have time to respond to a grand jury subpoena because he needed to get his golf shirts and pants out of the box,” Christie said on “CBS Mornings.” “I mean, does anybody in America believe this?”

Christy is the poster child of one of the three categories of a comprehensive corporate study to NEVER hire and why. He has been obese all of his YOUNG life, which is a red flag. Unless there are health problems, it is typically an emotional/mental issue. Most YOUNG HEALTHY obese people are resentful, argumentative, disruptive, as well as MALICIOUS with co-workers. In addition, they have a disproportionate amount of more sick days.

Is it just possible that Christie should avoid double Whoppers?

“These rinos running against Trump (other than Vivek) are REALLY counting on this document crap to bury him.”

DeSantis is more conservative than Trump.

He was MAGA before Trump.

DeSantis MAGA? Before Trump?! Lololo I think your comment (with which I agree) is for TexasGator.

Yeah, DeSwamptis was MAGA before Trump. That completely explains why he needed Trump’s endorsement to get his gov gig. I know - DeSwamptis told Trump all about MAGA when he went begging for the endorsement, and Trump jumped on!

Payback for DeSantis defending Trump in the Russian Hoax and Endorsing Trump for President.

I think DeSantis is a fine governor, but that would make him MFGA, not MAGA, for people with the discernment to make that distinction.

“when he went begging “

LOL! Another Trump slur. Like he condemned DeSantis for wanting to cut SS when Trump campaign on cutting SS.

Like I said, someone with intelligence and discernment would be able to make that distinction.

Some clearly cannot.

Maybe NARA should have followed their own procedures and taken possession of the documents and moved them to a secure storage location like they have done for every other President.

His fiscal-year 2019 budget (proposed in 2018) proposed massive cuts to Medicare, while his fiscal-year 2020 budget (proposed in 2019) proposed cutting more than $1 trillion from Medicare over a decade, and $26 billion from Social Security programs.

His fiscal-year 2021 budget (proposed earlier this year) would cut hundreds of billions of dollars from Medicare over 10 years.

The reason none of the changes went into effect is that Congress controls U.S. spending, not the president. And the budgets for Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security are essentially renewed annually, even without congressional approval. A president’s budget proposals are more akin to a picture of the administration’s priorities.

Additionally, the holiday on the payroll tax, which funds Social Security and Medicare, that Trump implemented via executive order earlier this summer in an attempt to stimulate a struggling economy contributes to the depletion of the accounts that fund those entitlement programs.

And Trump has said that he would make “permanent cuts” to the payroll tax — action that would require congressional approval — if he wins in November. Some experts have said that move could, in theory, totally deplete Social Security by 2023.

You’d have to be a special kind of stupid to actually donate money to the Christie campaign.

Maybe Christie should have been doing his job instead of parking his fat ass on the beach.

Christie always chooses boxes because that's what donuts come in.

Maybe Christie should have stop eating donuts for his audition as the evil Staypuff Marshmellow Man part in “Ghostbusters” and concentrated on clean up his corrupt state.

His campaign signs should say, “I cleaned up the plate, not the state. You are so screwed, peasants”!
