Leftist former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick has finally come about his “civil rights” agenda after it emerged that he’s been working with prominent Marxists on his new book.
In an interview with journalist Indigo Olivier for the New Republic, Kaepernick gave up the game when he defended partnering with leading Marxists to edit a new pro-black studies anthology.
Kaepernick, whose estimated net worth is $20 million, says he’s working with Marxists because “black liberation simply isn’t possible under capitalism.”
Ironically, the “free agent” football player has already earned $3 million in corporate sponsorship deals this year alone.
During his new interview, “anti-capitalist” Kaepernick made no mention of returning any of his wealth or donating it to charity.
Kaepernick worked with editors Robin D.G. Kelley and Keeanga-Yamahtta Taylor on his new book.
When Olivier asked Kaepernick why he worked with “two of the most prominent Black Marxists in the country,” he said:
“I’ve long admired Keeanga and Robin’s work as well as their uncompromising political analysis and understanding that black liberation simply isn’t possible under capitalism.

Go to North Korea. You will finally get to know what communism means. Unless you’re in the party elite, you’re poor, have no freedom of movement or expression, and are subject to the whims of the party elite.
Funny that Kaepernick doesn’t notice his circular reasoning: Black liberation (i.e., freedom) is only possible when everyone is a slave. But, by the same token, black people are not free in a free country (a capitalistic, free-markets economy and culture).
Good idea. They just love blacks in Cuba.
Look, Colin’s NFL career started off strong but he settled into mediocrity as NFL defenses figured him out. His earning potential as an NFL QB was limited. His career as a race-grifter has been far more lucrative. The smartest play he ever made on a football field was on the sideline, kneeling during the national anthem.
To loosely borrow from a Bill Hicks routine:
“Oh I see what he’s doing, he’s going after that anti-Capitalism dollar. That’s a big market. A lot of people are feeling that indignation. We’ve done research – huge market. He’s good to do that.”
Maybe he’ll be like Eldridge Cleaver and get his wake-up call from being over there.

If he ever gets his Marxisim, he won’t be worth $20 million.
