When we bombed Serbia in 1999, NATO was acting in violation of both the NATO Charter and the UN Charter. And broke the long-standing Peace of Westphalia. Yet we hammer on about our “rules-based International order”. “Rules for thee but not for me”, more like. No wonder much of the world came to regard us as a Not So Benign Hegemon and sought to establish a multipolar world order. The neocons are so wrong headed.
