never thought id ever see this Country in this shape...politically, morally...militarily, economically, spiritually....this place is shot. So glad im not in my 20’s...the outloook is bleak to say the least.
I first encountered this about 20 years ago ...
I was investigating a grant trail supposedly used to supply “youts” with computer access for job training, resume writing, and general ed.
The original grant recipient split the funding to sub nonprofits ... then they split the funds to more sub nons and so on...
I was 5 levels in before I saw the first computer room.
Half a dozen used low end , many non functional .. no network.
So I decided to attend one of the meetings of the group that set up the room. I had actually intended to offer them help with their set up.
But ... during the course of the evening I learned that no one actually used the computers. And that the money went to pay a few “admins” but the bulk of the budget was reserved for the speaker of the night
The wife of a candidate for local office.
It blew my mind .... As she spoke she assured them that she was the person they were getting. She laid out all the plans and plots for dominating in our area. Including a list of new grants coming down the pike for funding more candidates. And funding more “administrators”.
no ... it didn't work out the way they thought it would.
