Trump can’t pay his bills? Needs a bit of quick cash? Is that what we’re going with here?

Scarborough is scrambling to gain even a little bit of relevance, of which he has virtually none at the moment. Allegations that Donald Trump is doing what the indictment against him claims, for “money” is even more pointless than the charges themselves. Donald Trump has so many ways of wielding and extending the influence his wealth gives him, that to fall into the tawdry business of “espionage” is ludicrous beyond comment. Unlike Joe Biden, Trump has no need, or incentive, to take “short cuts” to power or influence, while Sleepy Joe has not much more talent than a creepy rodent, which he has come to resemble in a remarkable manner.

It is only in a side-by-side comparison between Trump and Biden that this contrast is so stark. But Democrat office holders of the Presidency have all had about the same kind of objectives since the time Lyndon Baines Johnson assumed office, under which in retrospect, some serious questions remain still unresolved. The systematic disassembly of the United States of America was well under way by the end of his term in office ended, and his successor in office, Richard Nixon, though he strove valiantly, was thwarted and obfuscated at almost every turn, and finally driven from office, even to the point of tarnishing his own successor, Gerald Ford, who was made virtually unelectable, allowing the ascent of Jimmy Carter, assuredly the least competent holder of the office up to that point in history. Only the elevation of Ronaldus Magnus succeeded in restoring much of the luster and spirit of what America once was to its former glory, only to have that diminished by the somewhat less than stellar performance of his Vice President, George H.W. Bush, by a pointless war on the other side of the world, which was not brought to a satisfactory conclusion, namely, the removal of Saddam Hussein from leadership of Iraq at the time. This led to the challenge by H. Ross Perot, as an independent, who took just enough votes from Bush-41 to make a very weak Democrat, Bill Clinton and more importantly, Hillary Rodham Clinton, the “co-president” the 42nd President, and a resumption of the wreckage of the US that had proceeded under Jimmy Carter. More slowly and more nuanced than Carter, to be sure, but definitely on the same glide path. Attempts to bring impeachment proceedings against Bill Clinton were doomed to fail, as the real injustices he saddled the US with were not even included in the list of charges, but only rather harmless (to the national security) charges of sexual misbehavior, something that many of the Senators that voted against the impeachment probably were guilty of themselves, and they did not want to open that can of worms.

Only by the grace of God and the US Supreme Court, were we rescued for a much more violent downdraft into the flames that were eating away at the edge of the “shining city on the hill”, was George W. Bush, Bush-43, installed in office, an election that was described as “fraudulent” and “illegitimate” at the time, setting the tone for the tightening of the ratchet in future elections. In retrospect, Bush-43 governed rather poorly, giving away his greatest advantages, use of the veto power, until it was too late to prevent the Democrat resurgence in 2006, and finally giving the election in 2008 of the Great Pretender, Barack Hussein Obama, and vastly accelerating the decline of America, halted only by the election of Donald J. Trump, a move that shocked and electrified the Deep State. Almost single-handedly, Trump was well on the road to restoring America, when a couple of stark world power plays were exercised against him, first the release, some believe with malice aforethought, of the COVID-19 Wuhan virus, then the subsequent mismanagement of the plague, vastly multiplying the effects of what should have been no worse than a bad influenza epidemic by a hundredfold or more. The shock was enough, that coupled with widespread election fraud, Joe Biden, surely one of the least effective persons EVER to be nominated for the Presidency, won what appeared to be a a landside, but with only squeaker margins in several key states.

Eighty-one million votes my ass. To quote Kari Lake.

Reeks of desperation, doesn’t it.
