Patrons at Miami eatery Versailles cheered when Donald Trump twice declared “Food for everyone!” during a surprise stop at the Little Havana hotspot. Then he left without buying food for anyone, according to a local report.
Fresh off pleading not guilty to criminal charges in a Miami federal court, Trump was all smiles as he entered the crowded restaurant Tuesday. Well-wishers sang “Happy Birthday” to the former New Yorker on the eve of his 77th birthday.
Trump supporters told NBC 6 South Florida they thought the 45th president was treated unfairly when he was indicted on more than three-dozen counts of mishandling classified information obtained while he was in the White House.
Citing “a knowledgeable source,” Miami’s New Times said Trump’s visit lasted roughly 10 minutes, leaving no time for much other than shaking hands and waving. Neither the restaurant nor Trump’s campaign has replied to a request for comment.
But that isn’t to say the former president doesn’t sometimes reach for his wallet.
When Clemson University’s football team won a national championship in 2019, their White House visit included hundreds of offerings from Burger King and McDonald’s that the former president claimed he purchased personally.
Trump defenders on Twitter noted the GOP frontrunner only said there’d be food for everyone at the restaurant — not that he was buying it.

Easy test. Ask 2 or 3 of the patrons
who were there. You might get lucky and
find that one was a republican who
would be honest with his answer..
That would certainly be the strongest for a native American animal. For the entire known world, the Nile Crocodile has the strongest bite force at 5000 psi. Don’t want to meet either one!
Sounds like this reporter from the NY Daily Times is being very dishonest, and published this even knowing he has no evidence to support the assertion, essentially putting the blame on another paper’s report -the “New Times”- as the source.
But it says in the article that neither Trump nor the restaurant management replied to questions, so the only verifiable sources that would truly know the answer did not.
Hmmm.
Source is the New Times of Miami...
Is that part of the newspaper chain New Times Media?
I think it likely... in which case, the company is run by two guys who, along with their wives, donate heavily to Democrats includiby Nancy Pelosi and Kamala Harris.
The men are Michael Lacey and James Larkin.
Another interesting thing to note is that these guys were making lists of money on sections of their papers elsewhere which were hubs being used by sex traffickers to run prostitutes.
...struggling to deal with the piles of cash that Backpage’s owners spread around to candidates and state Democratic parties over the years.
Even Ms. Harris, a California Democrat who is now a U.S. senator, ducked the issue. Her office wouldn’t respond to repeated emails about Backpage money going to House Majority PAC and other Democratic organizations.
Since 2010, the owners and their wives have shoveled about $99,000 to candidates and about $95,000 to Democratic parties in Arizona, Colorado and New Mexico, according to federal campaign finance data collected by the Center for Responsive Politics.
Bowing to mounting pressure, including a bipartisan Senate investigation that found the owners knowingly sold ads to pimps who coerced minors into prostitution, Backpage in January closed down its adult services sections.
The websites, however, continue to be marketplaces for the sex trade.

They aren’t just owners of Backpage, they own the New Times chain.
To easy...
UPDATE: Trump didn’t leave without pay. Nobody ordered any food! They asked the restaurant and Trump was swarmed and nobody ordered anything. The only people who ordered any food were Trump’s staff and they ALL PAID. Another TDS fake news piece bites the dust.
