Russian MPs have voted unanimously to ban any form of sex change, with President Putin’s allies claiming that the move was necessary to defend the motherland against “western anti-family ideology”.
The bill, which was approved in its first reading, will prohibit “medical interventions aimed at changing the sex of a person” and “the state registration of a change of gender without an operation”.
Pyotr Tolstoy, deputy speaker of the Russian parliament, said that the law would “erect a barrier” against what Putin had described as a western threat to the country’s “traditional values”.
“I really want the guys who are now defending the honour of Russia at the cost of their lives [in Ukraine] to return home and see that the country has changed,”
No, but a law banning things that aren’t even an issue in Russia, to promote Putin’s image as the defender of Russia against the West certainly is a distraction from the reality that Putin dragged them into a war against the West that they can’t win.

Our great grandchildren may have to seek spouses in Russia or face 30% or higher risk that they’re getting with a “reassigned gender” freak. I think that’s one of the reasons, besides perversion, why the arch demons in charge over here are in such a hurry to get them cut and injected with hormones as young as possible, the earlier the more the actual gender can be masked or impeded with hormones. I haven’t read article yet, but one Breitbart headline says White House declines to condemn UK for restricting puberty blockers for ‘trans kids.’ Many European countries have ruled “gender affirming care” is experimental and will no longer be used on underage children. I think that means until age 16.
