Hemingway: After The Last Seven Years, No One Believes The DOJ Is Acting In Good Faith
Real Clear Investigations ^ | June 11, 2023 | Tim Hains

Posted on 06/13/2023 8:28:52 PM PDT by george76

"The Federalist" senior editor Mollie Hemingway says she no longer trusts the FBI and Department of Justice in response to the indictment of former President Trump, Sunday on FNC's "Media Buzz."

MOLLIE HEMINGWAY: The larger context here is so important. I do think people would have be enwilling to hear from the Department of Justice that they need to indict their top political opponent, and hear that in good faith, if we had not experienced what we have from the past six years from this Department of Justice. We have a Department of Justice that had Hillary Clinton, who was never president and will never be a president, mishandling classified information and they invented a new legal standard to simply to let her go.

We have all the paperwork disputes with President Obama, and President Clinton, we have thefts of documents from the National Archives by a Clinton associate, and nothing has happened to those people. We have the Russia-gate collusion-hoax in which the Department of Justice invented and participated in a Democrat-invented conspiracy theory see to say Donald Trump was a traitor.

This week, we learned that Joe Biden was credibly accused by a very serious whistleblower of a $5 million bribery scheme and the FBI worked to cover it up. You're absolutely right that people are talking about the broader context because that is the most important thing here. Nobody takes the Department of Justice seriously so long as they fail to include exculpatory evidence and participate in this kind of hoax over, and over, and over again.

Except there’s about 4 out of 271 willing to talk about defunding and using the power of the purse.

If you watch, they are purposely dancing around that subject.

They saying Voting in the answer, but when they had all three - all they did was investigate Trump.

Hemingway's one of our 'best of the best' ... she's right on this issue too.

I can’t remember when the Uni Party last made a good and honest and right decision on a major piece of legislation.

Back in the fifties, Eisenhower got the Interstate Highway System started. Imagine being without any interstates. For starters, our economy would be about half what it is.

With Biden in office, at this point, the US is vying for or IS the most corrupt nation on earth.

Money breeds corruption and we have a lot of money. We likely are one of the most corrupt countries on Earth.

Trump’s mistake was not going after his adversaries.

"We have a Department of Justice that had Hillary Clinton, who was never president and will never be a president, mishandling classified information and they invented a new legal standard to simply to let her go."

In much the same way, they will make sure Trump will be found guilty of whatever crime needed to stop him from once again becoming president..

The rats can't afford to lose the election. Way too many of them at the top will go to jail.. Just like the last election, it will be hook or crook, and they will win because "WE THE PEOPLE" won't do ANYTHING to stop them..

I said that after November 2020. And its not just Democrats. Its people like Bill Barr, Chris Wray, and others connected to it. They talk about the Trump indictment as 'crossing the Rubicon'. IMHI, that happened in 2020.

Because of this, I despair for our country. Every election from here on out will be one that the Democrats (and their uni-state allies in the Republican Party) cannot afford to lose in order to cover up their previous crimes. The FBI and DOJ are totally corrupted and will be of no help in saving our republic. IMO 2016 was probably the last free and fair national election this country will see.

OK, Hemingway actually said "willing" but either an audio-to-text program or a careless human did not print what she actually said.

Similarly the article reads That could destroy a country in the media needs to cover that with the seriousness that is required. The article got that wrong too, because Hemingway actually said "and," not the nonsensical "in."
