On Monday’s “Hugh Hewitt Show,” 2024 presidential candidate and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) argued for reducing the footprint of federal agencies inside Washington, D.C. “by at least 50%.” DeSantis also stated that if he’s elected, this will particularly be the case with the Department of Justice and the FBI by focusing more on local field offices.
"We will also reduce the footprint of all these agencies — but particularly DOJ and FBI — within D.C. by at least 50%."

The footprint may go down, but the spending won’t.
FBI needs to be disbanded and all agents barred from law enforcement careers forever. This agency is totally corrupt and if the so called rank and file have not stepped up by now they are also corrupt through inaction. Shut it down and don’t replace it. We don’t need political persecutors helping dems pervert justice
That wouldn’t be more than a dent in their evil.
Yes!
Not only reduce their size but shift headquarters of divisions out of DC.
Secondly, eliminate the Appeals Court based in DC except for issues related to Foreign Govt, US Govt affairs.
Require all federal prosecutions to be moved at least 100 miles from DC and assigned to District courts randomly.
Woke personnel should not be unleased on conservative parts of the USA.
Or has it only just now reached the tipping point?
Oh! It's because if he's elected as POTUS he'll be in charge of them.
And he says he's going to fire people instead of keeping them on.
Schedule F?
I guess Ron hasn’t been to DC lately. Its empty. The footprint is practically non existent.
The other 50% get brand new offices with special cots for sleeping in Nome, AK. A land line phone and no internet access.
After eliminating and slashing the payrolls of the alphabet agencies, move them all out of DC. For instance, the Department of Agriculture should be in IOWA or KANSAS.>>>> Nome, AK. They get land line no internet and a cot next to their office. ALso, the office electrics can only run on windmills.
Better yet solar, six months of the year we don’t hear from them at all.
