I own a 2011 Kia Soul with the big 4 cylinder engine. It’s without a doubt the very best made car I have ever owned. I have 280,000 miles on it and it has never had a mechanical malfunction other than routine maintenance stuff. I just got an email notice this morning from Kia, they are sending me some type of steering wheel lock, for free, to deter the theft issue. I imagine they are sending us the “Club” or some newer iteration. I doubt I will use it, with all the miles on the old Soul, there’s zero market vale, I suppose, I would probably get more from an insurance theft claim than trade in value.
