Perhaps they do not frame it in that way but this way of thinking certainly contributes to it.
I don’t know about a “large number,” but it has surely set off mass psychosis. Maybe once or twice a year I hear about a kid committing suicide over this insanity.
More common is young couples deciding against having children because “the earth is on fire and we don’t want to bring kids into this world.”
