With fires raging in Canada and blanketing America’s northeast in thick orange smoke, leftists are again beating the “climate change” drum. Saner minds point to Justin Trudeau’s refusal to practice good forest management. But what if it’s neither of those things? It turns out that there’s compelling evidence suggesting that eco-terrorists set the fires to corral weary Westerners back into a climate change panic—and it won’t be the first time that’s happened.
It was inevitable, once the fires started raging, that the leftists would raise the specter of climate change. Justin Trudeau insisted climate change was the culprit and again demanded a carbon tax to save the world. Bloomberg announced that “Canada’s Wildfires Expose the Climate Change ‘Spiral of Silence.’” The BBC asked rhetorically, “Is climate change fuelling Canada’s wildfires?” ABC announced as fact, “How Canada’s wildfires and air quality warnings are connected to climate change.”

When you’ve got an unfalsifiable theory like climate change, which is all faith and no science, you’d expect leftists to tread the same path. But what if that’s not what’s happening at all? What if we’re witnessing arson on a massive, destructive scale to drive the narrative?
Elizabeth Nickson has examined the evidence suggesting eco-terrorist arson, and there’s a good case. Nickson opens by pointing to a satellite video circulating on Twitter showing the fires beginning almost simultaneously, at just the right time for the winds to take the smoke south:
Satellite images from the College of DuPage Meteorology Department show that—on the 2nd of June—the fires that erupted in Quebec, Canada, all started at the exact same time.

to force rural people into the 15 minute cities.
Simultaneous attacks are the AQ/ISIS calling card, not ELF and ALF’s.
Follow up question: What wannabe superpower has been waging asymetric warfare against North America?
It wouldn’t surprise me if it was arson. Especially in eastern Canada.
What does surprise me, a little, is that there are far more and far bigger fires in western Canada that started more than a month before the eastern fires. At least one of them has topped a million acres now.
But I saw a chart on somebody’s podcast which showed a steady decline in Canadian forest fires since the early ‘90s so the only thing new here is that NYC and DC had to eat some smoke this year due to the different profile of the jet streams which is being caused by a strong El Nino.
Welcome to the party, East Coasters! We’ve been eating smoke out west every summer for the last few years for weeks and months at a time.
I forgot to finish my thought in the 2nd paragraph. What surprised me about the western Canadian fires is they got very little press.

Good find! I hope they put those arsonists away for a long time.
Just askin'
China. Russia. North Korea. And Iran.
Depends on if there was a storm system involved....such a system would cover a wide area, and if it has been dry as a tinderbox in that region, then many lightning strikes could start up a bunch of fires at roughly the same time.
See “State of Fear” by Michael Crichton.
Any idea of a date and time stamp for that sequence?
It occurs during clear skies and northeast winds, not likely to be lightning. And it looks suspiciously like the road network in central Quebec (which is not very extensive).
In western Canada we know that some fires have been started by arson, somebody was convicted of starting 54 fires in Alberta in 2021. And the 2016 Fort Mac fire started from a remote campsite 20 miles west of the city, and there was no lightning involved.
Other human causes beside deliberate arson include flicking butts out of a car window, campfires not entirely extinguished, train sparks jumping into forests, cars parked on dry grass in hot weather ... and the practice of not clearing hydro-electric transmission corridors of trees.
One assumption in this discussion is somewhat misplaced. In Canada forestry is largely a provincial responsibility. There are no “national forests” and there is little federal government involvement in forestry. It’s a big portfolio for provincial governments. They co-ordinate all aspects of fighting fires in Canada. The feds step in to score political points sometimes but their actual role is negligible.
As if they will move to smoky New York City.
It’s gonna get worse, and the democrats do not care..
And The Stupid Party is either too naive, or hasn’t the guts to bring up to the masses.
Not so innocent questions:
What color is the smoke of burning Ammonium Nitrate?
What chemical was recently stolen in a large quantity?
bttt
Good questions post 17 👀
The fires are along an exact pattern. Did they all start along roads or easy access points?
