That night at the Rep. National Convention when that chant went up, Trump at the podium raised his hands with his palms outward and said “No, no.” (Shaking his head and smiling.)
“Let’s just win the election.”
That was a big letdown for me. I fully admit in a way I was using him (one out of tens of millions of people supporting him) as a political weapon to punish Hillary Clinton and Obama.
I knew that kindly stance by Trump would not win him votes and would insure a placid type of pseudo justice against the groups who were about to destroy America.
He did not get the good little boy award. The other side unhesitatingly attacked Trump before he was even sworn in. And sent feminists, gays and blacks to protest him while Adam Schiff and Schumer and Pelosi pummeled him daily.
