Actress Alicia Silverstone lauds RFK Jr., says she ditched Democratic registration and switched to Independent last year

Actress Alicia Silverstone issued an Instagram post in which she praised Democratic presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., and noted that last year she had ditched her Democratic registration and switched to Independent.

"Last year, I cancelled my Democratic Party registration and registered as an Independent voter," she wrote. "Like many others, I am deeply disappointed with political leadership at every turn. The division, the lies, the profiteering at the expense of the people and public health. But @robertfkennedyjr gives me hope. This man gets me excited about the potential for truth and justice. He provides hope for young and old to trust our government once again. RFK Jr. is a person we can be inspired and be proud to call President."

"I love his vision of peace, unity, and justice for all. I am uplifted by his commitment to protect civil and worker rights as well as our children’s health. We need leaders who will resolve poverty, pollution, inequality, and stop wars… Bobby is that leader," she asserted. "If you have felt disenfranchised by our government like me, I highly recommend you listening to Bobby speak. I've worked alongside Bobby for children’s health and our environment for 15 plus years. I love me some Bobby!! He is just incredible."

President Joe Biden is running for re-election, but Kennedy and Marianne Williamson are also vying for the Democratic presidential nomination in the party's primary.

On the Republican side of the aisle, former President Donald Trump is the clear frontrunner, but he's facing competition from a field of various GOP candidates.

Americans could end up with a rematch of the 2020 presidential election in 2024 if Biden and former President Donald Trump both secure their respective party's nomination.

California has an open primary, so she can vote for him.

This is old stuff taken out of context.

At this point, we have nothing to gain from attacking him. He’s not going to be the Democrat nominee anyway. Attacking him will just discourage his supporters from voting for Trump despite the fact that the two have much in common such as:

- being against constantly meddling and getting into foreign wars of choice

- being against the corruption of government and the “regulatory capture” of federal agencies via the revolving door between them and the industries they are supposed to regulate.....think the CDC and big pharma or the intel agencies and big tech or the Pentagon and defense firms, etc

- being against the deep state

I have thought of doing something like that. If the Dems can do it, why not the Republicans? Except then you can’t vote for Trump or DeSantis in the same primaries. It’s a dilemma. LOL

No, I don’t. I just think Biden is a greater danger to this country than RFK.

So you believe he’s actually against those three things and don’t believe he’s still for the things I pointed out. Things he’s been publicly and loudly in favor of for quite a few years!

I wish he were running third party. Now that along with no party candidate will make things interesting. America needs to have more than two choices. It’s past time.

I don’t give a rat’s azz about Venezuela.

“He also wants to put global warming critics in jail.”

This wasn’t a policy decision of his, it was just political talk. He has already come out against globalist corporations pushing their “carbon credits”. His actual climate initiatives have more to do with air and water pollution. He’s said he’s for a free market energy solution. I can live with that.

RFK Jr. will quickly become the “fashionable” Democrat for Hollywood and college leftists, much like Obama in 2007

No, I don’t believe he’s for those things. I think some of this has been deliberately overblown.

The only people who stand to benefit from those on the right condemning RFK Jr harshly are establishment Democrats. A decent percentage of his supporters are open to voting for Trump. That will likely not happen if a bunch of people on the Right trash him relentlessly....which is completely unnecessary since he’s not going to get the nomination anyway.

Problem is a 3rd party splits the vote and most likely will hurt conservatives. Now, if we could get progressives, socialists, dems to split, that would be good. But Republicans, populists, conservatives, etc., need to stick together, find common ground and focus on that.

RFK, Jr. is better than every single GOP’er running for President who supports Soros/Satan/GloboHomo and Ukraine.

Maybe 1-3 GOP’ers running don’t.

>>>Heck, maybe we all should ‘become Democrats’ to vote for RFK Jr over Biden in the primaries, then back to Republican or Independent for the general election.<<<

That’s definitely something to think about. Question is: Is there time to re-register as a Repub./Ind. before the gen. election? But then again, it wouldn’t matter, as long as you voted the right way in the election.

What candidate anywhere near as good has the Democrat party had? I can’t remember one and I remember as far back as Jimmy Crater.

It goes without saying that the Democrat Party Establishment will make sure he doesn’t get the nomination.
