Amazing how quickly a career can vanish-
He’s been Corporate Music for decades, left Country a long, long time ago.
Hope that bar does well for ya

Isn’t he that faux cowboy that wrote that ‘booty scootin boogie’ song?

Yep, right around the time he took up with his lefty sloth of a wife Trisha Yearwood. Worst thing she ever did for herself is Hosting a Cooking show. She got YUGE! Supposedly she has slimmed down. but a long way to go to get healthy.

"...And yes, we’re going to serve every brand of beer. We just are. It’s not our decision to make..." What a totally vapid jackass.
"... building a bar called Friends in Low Places..."
A more fitting name he could not have chosen. Up until now, I was simply indifferent to his work.
Not "indifferent" any more. He has publicly chosen his side.

I never saw the big deal with Garth Brooks, I didn’t find him all that musically appealing, but he did propel country music back when it needed propping up, it just went in a weird direction that’s all. Garth should stay retired, nobody really missed him all that much.
