Em. That’s not what NYC looks like right now.
It’s actually covered in soot smoke and ash from Canada in a more toxic mess than in the aftermath of 9/11. Worse than ever recorded in history. Flights are cancelled. They’re covering window seals with wet towels driving with headlights on. Caught in a low pressure with a stiff north breeze. No one is sight seeing at the un.
Never seen so many people freaking out about some smoke. Yeah, it’s annoying but people around here act like they will drop dead unless the shelter in place. Sheesh.
Doesn’t seem to be any ash anywhere, like there was years ago before they outlawed the furnaces that caused it. It’s just in the air.
Some people said they could smell it, even indoors, but I couldn’t.
It was just science-fictiony when the sky turned yellow for several hours.
