Premier François Legault says the Abitibi-Témiscamingue region in northwestern Quebec is an area of particular concern, with the communities of Normétal and Lebel-sur-Quévillon under threat.

Fires have forced about 10,000 people from their homes, mostly in the northwestern Atibibi region and eastern Cote-Nord region.

I dislike Quebec intensely, but I must admit that they have some really cool place names up there.

Was down by Parkersburg WV today, could smell it in the car, but it’s NOTHING like what friends in southern Idaho report every fire season. They see visibility reduced to a quarter mile at times. Planes unable to land at the Hailey airport.

Still, it is unusual for here.

Here in northern NH I took a picture of the blood red sun this morning. I noticed it’s harder to breathe. I smoked for 45 years and I feel it today.

Terrorism. When ya invite 4 million illegals into the country, there are bound to be a few thousand terrorists with means to start forest fires.

Cry me a river.

Oh, WAIT: I know, let’s put out ALL the fires, disturb the natural ecology, let the fuels build up, raise the threat of devastation...all so everyone can have clear air/skies and empower the carbon sequestration/climate change nazis to further destroy the economy.

(too late)

>100 years of Smokey the Bear propaganda and most STILL haven’t learned the lesson, despite the virus, russian collusion, etc.

smh

Lots of rumbling that this may have been human caused. It appears from satellite video that the smoke plumes all start about the same time in one of the clips I watched.
