When the commie's policies fail, they believe that they haven't done it hard enough and double down.

Although wildfire liability costs (mostly PG&E) have jacked up electricity rates, the cause of this “tiered base flat rate + usage” proposal is California Assembly Bill 205 passed last year. See this April FR thread:

In socialist zones like California, they punish people who are prudent, hard working, and successful.

I wonder if the Founding Fathers knew what the hell they were doing when they decided to give EVERYONE the right to vote no matter how retarded they are

The founding fathers did NOT give everyone the right to vote. At the time only men (and in many areas only property owners) could vote.

Congress over the years has changed the rules first woman and then 18 year old (and don’t forget when they changed the way Senator were selected).

Now there is talk of allowing non-citizens to vote (not that they have not been doing so already, just making it legal.)

State Farm, Allstate and Oregon Mutual have stopped writing consumer policies in Kalifornia due to fire hazards. I think we might be seeing the the beginning of the end???

California once led the nation in just about everything.

For most it doesn’t work in term of economics but in this instance they are pissing off the wealthy. Who knows what they will do.

It does make sense. Everything they do has the goal of increasing their power.

Forcing more electricity consumption while limiting generating and transmission capacity and increasing the costs via solar and wind mandates... every single one of these thing increases their power over the people struggling to pay their bills.

The oligarchs that control CA don’t care about the extra cost.

It impoverishes the middle class and makes them even more dependent on benefits and subsidies that the oligarchs control.

I guess there is no idea too stupid for California

Just another step on the road to becoming a socialist hell hole.

Great idea Kalifornia, drive out some more rich people. More wealthy people realize every day that Kalifornia is not welcoming or safe for them any longer.

California should humiliate the rich in public denunciation like their heroes the Chinese Communists:

(from Wikipedia)
Struggle sessions or denunciation rallies were violent public spectacles in Maoist China where people accused of being “class enemies” were publicly humiliated, accused, beaten and tortured by people with whom they were close.

Usually conducted at the workplace, classrooms and auditoriums, “students were pitted against their teachers, friends and spouses were pressured to betray one another, [and] children were manipulated into exposing their parents”.

Staging, scripts and agitators were prearranged by the Maoists to incite crowd support. The aim was to instill a crusading spirit among the crowd to promote the Maoist thought reform. These rallies were most popular in the mass campaigns immediately before and after the establishment of the People’s Republic of China and during the Cultural Revolution.

The denunciation of prominent class enemies was often conducted in public squares and marked by large crowds of people who surrounded the kneeling victim, raised their fists, and shouted accusations of misdeeds.

Unconstitutional

Just an old dusty document. Judges don't even care about it anymore. If you think the Constitution is going to stop the anti-American leftist marxist democrats, you got another thing coming. Just one reason I lol every time I hear the Article V garbage. Hell, these guys think reps to a Constitutional convention would follow their state ordered guidelines. Yeah, and our elected officials will follow the Constitution.

If I remember correctly, the FF's wanted a system whereby only those that owned property would be allowed to vote, because they were the ones impacted. That is how it should be today.
