Female HS track athlete suing Connecticut over transgender policy: 'Disheartening'

Former high school track and field athlete Chelsea Mitchell and her attorney Christiana Kiefer joined ‘Varney & Co.’ to discuss her ongoing lawsuit against the state of Connecticut over its transgender policy.

The former high school track and field athlete said her experience competing with trans women was 'frustrating and disheartening.

"All four years of my high school experience, I raced against these two biological males who ended up taking four state championships, two honorary awards, and countless other opportunities for myself to advance. And it's not fair to force people to participate against biological males, and so that's why I'm suing," Chelsea Mitchell argued during an appearance on "Varney & Co."

"It's not fair that these biological males took these titles from myself and other girls, and so the record should reflect that. But also, we want the policy reversed so that no other female in Connecticut has to go through the same thing that I went through," she told substitute host Lauren Simonetti on Wednesday.

Selina Soule, a fellow frustrated track and field athlete, is joining the legal battle against the state of Connecticut, and is pleading with other women to take a stand in defense of women's sports.

When it comes to track blacks tend to dominate the upper echelons. I wonder if anyone has brought up the racial aspect of white transes beating real female blacks? Could explode a few lib heads.

She’s using oranges to talk about apples. Title IX had nothing to do with the competition in sports between male and female when it was put into effect. It was implemented to make available the programs for women they wished on an even scale of availability with the men. But only in the area of availability, not competition. That’s another topic.

There isn’t a sport in any school’s systems that women cannot compete in in my experience and studies as an official, manager, player, and league exec from the mid 1950’s until my retirement in 2013 under Title IX. The only discrimination is that some of the women’s sports are unavailable to men, some previous Olympic sports. The women have the choice of competing against the men any time they wish. The men don’t. So, outside of the competitive area that she’s trying to bring into the Title IX discussion, the areas of availability versus head up competition are not the same.

If she’s frustrated with the head up competition, that has nothing to do with the original Title IX.

However, the politicians have added to Title IX to include transgenders and have ruined the intent of the act.

A good article is here.

https://www.ed.gov/news/press-releases/fact-sheet-us-department-educations-proposed-change-its-title-ix-regulations-students-eligibility-athletic-teams#:~:text=Since%20Title%20IX%20was%20signed,of%20students%20across%20the%20country.

The parent education organizations at the different school systems around the country can ignore this. But they are facing the removal of federal funds to do so. I think that’s called blackmail. And the US Department of Education is aware of this and has done nothing to stop it. Contrary, they have promoted it. So Title IX isn’t the opponent. The politicians are.

Sue the crap out of everyone involved, including the boys who competed against girls. Show no mercy.

I’m waiting for a high profile law suit against a “trans woman” (a man) that received preferential treatment over a regular man on the job at some big wok business. Bust every part of this crap apart and being back some sanity based on competence and the content of people’s character.

Why should xx chromosome birthed people be in a special class where they only have to compete with others like them. Isn’t this like a cooking contest in England where French and Italians are prohibited from entering. You create a special coddled class of people who get prizes for toad in the hole while obvioyusly being very poor at what they do? And it leads those of anglo saxon heritage to continue their feeling of privilege and superiority while eating the most disgusting tripe imagninable.

Despite the hopefully obvious sarcasm, actually it’s not a bad argument and I won’t undertake to refute it.

Wait, are women waking up? Stay the fuck out of men’s sports and you might get my support. Otherwise, stupid is as stupid does.
