Walt Disney's Pixar Animation Studios has eliminated 75 positions including those of two executives behind box office flop Lightyear in what are the the first significant job cuts at the studio in a decade.
The cuts included Lightyear director Angus MacLane, a 26-year animator who was part of the senior creative team on such acclaimed films as Toy Story 4 and Coco.
Michael Agulnek, Pixar's vice-president of worldwide publicity since 2015, was also laid off. Also departing the studio is Galyn Susman, a producer on Lightyear.

I find the writing of recent Marvel films really substandard. What are they thinking? I’m not going to name the films because I like the actors and it’s not the performers’ fault the scripts are so inferior to previous depictions of the characters. Politics and social commentary interjected into plot, weak boring storylines.

We just stopped watching, mid-episode. It was a series that was simply a diatribe smear on whites and the US.
How people like John Charles Cutler, who did terrible things to US and even citizens of other countries, without their consent to hurt them, is beyond imaginable, but creating a theme around the US as being intrinsically that way, is grotesque. Such thinking and actual practice is disgusting and such doctors, and any entity authorizing such unethical, immoral work, should be tried under capital punishment.
I hear you. The only two Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) films I enjoyed were the first “Iron Man” and the first “Black Panther”.

I don’t doubt it. One group, the people who took the VAXX, has many who died, and many who are suffering still from the side effects. The latest most publicly recognized of this group is Jamie Foxx. Another group, the UNVAXXED, suffered some when they got Covid, but pretty much fared eminently better than the VAXX group.
If the trans greeter is still hugging children, we have a bigger problem than that.

They’re not going broke. They’re getting subsidized. Their consumers are not in charge. Our local Target, in a shopping center where other stores are shutting down, this Target is getting a major renovation. They’re suffering blowback? Or they’re enjoying a payoff?
Who is subsidizing them?
