Copies of the King James Bible are to be removed from the libraries of elementary and junior high schools in Davis County, Utah after complaints by parents claiming that the Bible contains material inappropriate for young children.

โLet us know when they ban the Book of Mormon.โ
Here you go:

Notice I said “officially”. I’m not saying they actually adhere to it, just that their “official” and public position is that it’s part of Scripture.
โโThe Mormons use the KJV as their Bible and officially consider it sacred scripture. This is definitely leftists and not devout LDS members.โโ
That is a pretty clear statement giving the impression they are Bible-believing Christians, which is why I posted “Not really, they use it for public relations but only as far as they accept that it interprets SOME of Godโs word accurately and doesnโt disagree with their true holy book, the Book of Mormon.” to clear up your false impression you were giving people.
You sound Mormon yourself, are you a member of the LDS, or what is commonly known as LDS, or Mormon?
Let us know when the Mormons ban their Holy book.
I am not a Mormon. You are apparently hung up on something I’ve not said and want to dispute that Mormon’s officially accept the KJV as their Bible. No devout Mormon would ever sanction removing the KJV from a library. That is a fact and whether they believe that the Bible (and KJV in particular) is the infallible Word of God without error in its original articles (as I do) does not change that fact. Your point is irrelevant.
“โโThe Mormons use the KJV as their Bible and officially consider it sacred scripture. This is definitely leftists and not devout LDS members.โโ”
Not really, they use it for public relations but only as far as it doesnโt disagree with their true holy book, the Book of Mormon.
Your post gives the impression that the non-Christian religion actually worships the bible.
By the way, my sense that you sounded somewhat like a Mormon, was pretty astute.
You should have mentioned that you used to be a Mormon, that is what I was picking up on.
Why am I required to mention that? That has no bearing on the truth of my comments and invalidity of your thoughts.
By the way, I haven’t been Mormon for nearly 40 years. As a Born Again believer that is not who I am and it doesn’t change the fact that you don’t know what you are talking about.
And by the way, very creepy move there.
One lefty jerk complains and ger their way.
An entire group of right leaning folks complain about porn in schools and they get a visit from the FIB.
Tyranny!! The Tree of Liberty is thirsty.
The only thing creepy is your obsession with this Mormon thing, making a misleading post about them and the bible, and then coming back every few days to resurrect your creepy obsession.
How was I being misleading? I stand by my contention that no devout Mormon would ever vote to remove a King James Bible from a library.
I didn’t raise my history because it is absolutely not relevant. But if anything, my experience with Mormons while in High School actually gives me more credibility. I just didn’t feel the need to state it because my comments are obviously true to anyone that has any actual knowledge of Mormon beliefs. Yes they believe the Bible can be changed, but it is a huge stretch from that to infer from that Mormons would vote to remove it.
You couldn’t argue with the truth of my comment, so you chose instead the ad hominem approach by trying to disparage me instead of the truthfulness of my comment.
Do us all a favor and cease trying to argue for our side until you take a few courses in rhetoric and apologetics.
Man, you are obsessed.
Your misleading impression—โโโThe Mormons use the KJV as their Bible and officially consider it sacred scripture.โโโ
My response-Not really, they use it for public relations but only as far as it doesnโt disagree with their true holy book, the Book of Mormon.
Your post gives the impression that the non-Christian religion actually worships the bible.
No it doesn’t. You lack reading comprehension.
You must have been Mormon during your formative years, judging by your obsessive reaction to what was a very simple post made a week and a half ago.
