Team DeSantis Spreads Misinformation about Trump Crowds in Iowa on Twitter

Team DeSantis is apparently embracing gutter tactics as their situation grows more desperate.
One of Ron DeSantis’ top advisors John Cardillo, spread misinformation about a Trump crowd size in Iowa. Cardillo tweeted a video of Trump at a radio station in Iowa and claimed it was an open campaign event. Thousands have seen the video and as of now, Twitter has not applied community notes to Cardillo’s video leading many to question if Elon Musk and Twitter’s new globalist CEO are turning the platform into a defacto pro-DeSantis Super Pac.
Cardillo tweeted the inaccurate video with an erroneous caption that read, “Six or seven people showed up to meet Trump at this Iowa venue. People are over him. The push polls are WAY off.”
However, if someone watches the video, one can clearly tell that a WHO radio sign is right behind Trump’s head, clearly indicating that Trump is at a radio station and not a campaign rally.
A Trump campaign press release from earlier this week said Trump would be conducting an interview with WHO radio in Iowa, “President Trump will appear in-studio with Simon Conway of 1040 WHO Des Moines for an interview.”
Twitter has yet to apply community notes to Cardillo’s tweet. Some are questioning if this points to the fact that Elon Musk and Twitter’s new globalist CEO are backing DeSantis and using the social media platform as a defacto DeSantis Super Pac. Trump supporters have been complaining that their feeds are filled with DeSantis influencers despite the fact that these Trump supporters do not follow anyone on Team DeSantis.
This is not the first time Team DeSantis has lied to GOP voters. National File previously reported on National Weather Service data that confirmed there was a tornado outbreak in the Des Monies Iowa region on the date Trump was to have his rally. Team DeSantis recently stated that Trump canceled his April Iowa rally due to crowd size and there were no tornados in the region.
DeSantis is attempting to pitch himself as a stand-up guy to GOP voters. However, actions like Cardillo’s are allowing GOP voters to see right through Team DeSantis’ globalist lies. Many believe this is why DeSantis poll numbers have plummeted.
The Iowa Caucus kicks off in early 2024.

Not surprising. The parallels between the Cruz campaign and the DeSantis campaign are stark.

So Trump went off half cocked about something he knows nothing about.
He also had his buddy at the National Enquirer accuse Cruz of adultery, with many women.
Politics is nasty and Trump is one of the nastiest. So excuse me for not shedding a tear over ‘misinformation’.

We go to the Machine Shop restaurant whenever we’re in the Des Moines area and it probably holds 160-200 people & they were swarming on Trump.

The Machine Shed meeting was a club meeting in Urbandale. He also met with ‘faith leaders’ in Des Moines, and what I think was a campaign office in Grimes. The Hannity rally in the Clive city hall complex was not live, but recorded earlier in the day. None of those are very large venues, especially given security requirements.

“So Trump went off half cocked about something he knows nothing about.”
Actually, you don’t really know that, do you? You don’t know what Trump knows or doesn’t know on the matter. A picture exists of Oswald passing out pro-Castro pamphlets with a man who resembles Rafael Cruz. The picture was taken in New Orleans, a few months prior to Kennedy’s assassination. Cruz’s father has been vague about his where abouts during that time in his life, and some of the details he’s given turned out later to be false. But, from what is known of his where abouts during that time, his presence in New Orleans on that day is plausible.
Trumps actual comments?
“And you know, his[Cruz’s] father was with Lee Harvey Oswald prior to Oswald being... you know—shot. I mean, the whole thing is ridiculous. What is this? And nobody even brings it up. They don’t even talk about it. And that was reported, and nobody talks about it.
... I mean, what was he doing with Lee Harvey Oswald shortly before the death? Before the shooting? It’s horrible.”
Cruz’s father is known to have mis-represented his past on previous occasions. Was he with Oswald in New Orleans that day? Possibly. Was he involved in the Kennedy assassination? There’s no direct evidence that he was, but then again, Trump never said he was. Was Trump implying that it might be possible? Yes.
Was it dirty politics for him to do so? Maybe, although Cruz’s campaign had already engaged in dirty politics of its own at the time Trump made his comments. And it’s also worth remembering that Trump has made outlandish allegations before - that later nded up being true (e.g. That he was spied on by Obama).
