Teachers unions across America have defended members from termination for virtually every imaginable kind of misconduct.
The unions defended teachers for illegal marijuana use and intoxication on the job. They defended teachers who stole money, had excessive absences, or otherwise abused their position.
They defended teachers who had pornographic materials in the classroom. They defended incompetent teachers who failed to produce positive student achievement.
And in Rhode Island, the teachers unions vigorously defended one teacher who engaged in inappropriate touching and language with his female students. They appealed his firing all the way to the Rhode Island Supreme Court.
As one of the primary purposes to justify the paying of dues, teachers unions promote themselves as fighting to protect the jobs of teachers and rarely ever backing down when it comes to the dismissal of one of their members.

In addition they abandoned teachers who did not fall in line with the government dictates when they should have been supporting them in their efforts.
Teacher's unions have done more harm to the education of this nation's children than any other entity I can think of at the moment.
Teachers’ unions AND government unions. Both should be outlawed.
And it’s not just a U.S. problem. Teachers Unions are known for corruption, since they are in charge of ‘little minds’ and usually get propped up by an equally corrupt government making them practically invulnerable. See Mexico for a case study.
One Communist Party member said in the 1940s if the Party could place only 1,000 secretly Communist members in the NYC teachers’ union it would corrupt and influence the entire system for more than one generation. She did it.

Exhibit A : Randi Weingarten, an activist labor lawyer, who returned to university to obtain a teaching credential to enable her to advance to a leadership position in the ranks of the American Federation of Teachers. This LBGTQ individual has been the president of the AFT forever and she was all in on pushing the pandemic lock downs and school closures.
Unions that won’t fight for you when it counts are useless. So why do we need teacher’s unions again?

That’s interesting info. It does add up.
Instead of this long winded ill-edited perambulation through everything wrong with teacher’s unions the article might have started off with the main point that the union refused to defend three teachers who refused the useless COVID 19 [non]vaccinations, and that this resulted in a large settlement [which is not a legal victory by the way since settlements mean that there is no legal judgment, however much of a moral victory it might be.]
The Teacher’s Union is now run by the homos.
Teachers unions are like the Mafia, except the Mafia is far more honest about who they are and what they will and won’t do to/for you.
