Trump’s documents are his.
The archives department cleared them.
Explain how they could be a security risk..
Everything changes with a new president
I have already explained that. If government documents are declassified, they may be open to a FOIA request which means any journalist or citizen could request and gain access to them in some cases. These are not Trump’s personal documents. These are documents that are property of the American people. Classification is what keeps them from being released to the public. If Trump declassified documents that should be classified, that would be an issue. I’m saying he should have kept them classified.
I do believe the docs had been secured in a given room which archives wanted an extra lock on. Get over your Trump hate. TDS is real, and it clearly affects "conservatives" too. Face it: Trump will be the nominee for '24.
I’ve already explained that.
The president has the right to keep any documents and to decide what is his..AT WILL
By your logic, Biden can simply say any government documents about him and his family are now his personal property and may not be released at any time. Do you agree with that?
We discussed this already
You didn’t listen.
It’s not my logic..duh.
You may believe what you want. I tend to believe the facts. I am sure we will soon hear the facts, and see evidence of them. Until then it’s all conjecture.
I am not Trump deranged. I have stated for a while that we need to stop electing the elderly. We are walking along a knife’s edge with the fossils in charge. It’s not a matter of “if they die in office” but when they die. It’s going to happen.
I voted for the guy in two elections and two primaries. I love his policies. I just think he is too old to get stuff done. It’s time for a change to someone who can get stuff done without twisting the scrotum of the country in the process.
When he declared that in 2017 all documents he brought to Mar A Lago were automatically declassified, yes.
Great. Declassified documents are subject to FOIA requests and are available to the public. I’m sure trump knew that when he declassified all of them. Let’s get to reading them!
The implication of the headline, and then the first paragraph are journalistic malpractice. This is a B.S. hit piece with the backtrack weasel language further in the article.
“The recording indicates Trump understood he retained classified material after leaving the White House”
If Trump retained it, by definition it ain't classified anymore. He was the POTUS!
And why isn't Hillary charged with obstruction 30,000 times for deleting 30,000 emails AFTER she was subpoenaed?
Hearsay, thou name is Cassidy Hutchinson, "STAR WITNESS" of the J6 Committee.
LOL! So it isn't just second hand evidence of what was actually HEARD on the tape. It is second hand evidence of what someone read was TRANSCRIBED from the tape aka THIRD HAND evidence of what was actually on the tape (if it exists).
