Can’t really blame McCarthy....

We knew all along he would do this.

So did all of our RINO republican representatives.

No... we can’t blame McCarthy.

It’s everyone who voted for him as speaker.

That’s who to blame.

The Media is Celebrating Kevin McCarthy.

Bloomberg wrote he has proved he’s an elite Leader in uniting with Joe Biden, and bringing home the deal for Biden despite the Neanderthals in his party. He sacrificed for the Country.

There is no doubt about his Leadership abilities any longer.

So we are still going to waste all that money on an army of 87,000 IRS agents busting my balls for the governments cut of that $600 in cash I put into my checking account so the DemoMarxists will have more money to spend on illegals and middle eastern terror groups. McRINO couldn’t even get rid of that!! How the hell can you NOT make a deal with a dementia patient???

Just take a look at the tax rates of 1978 Britain:

below £750 - rate of 25 per cent,

otherwise below £7,000 - basic rate of 34 per cent

The next £1,000 40 per cent.
The next £1,000 45 per cent.
The next £1,000 50 per cent.
The next £1,500 55 per cent.
The next £1,500 60 per cent.
The next £2,000 65 per cent.
The next £2,500 70 per cent.
The next £5,500 75 per cent.
The remainder 83 per cent.

https://api.parliament.uk/historic-hansard/commons/1978/apr/17/8-income-tax-charges-and-rates-for-1978

That £7,000 is about $100,000 in 2023 money. The 55% bracket kicked in at about $140,000 in 2023 money.

There’s a reason why Joe wants ~80,000 more IRS people, the tax rates are going to go so high that millions of Americans will try to illegally avoid getting fleeced.

“there doesn’t appear to be a dollar limit to the debt ceiling increase”

Fannie Mae [share price 46 cents apparently], Freddie Mac and the FDIC may together need up to a trillion dollars to bail them out.

McCarthy needs to be a ‘very good’ RINO because the Democratic Party in California has:

few viable political opponents

the largest state party funding base in the US.

I’ll say it again: why even go through the charade of setting a “debt ceiling” that can always be raised, when the problem is profligate spending? Why do voters consistently vote for politicians that just plain suck?

They already passed a spending bill in the house. Why didn’t they send it on to the Senate and let them vote on it. I know that the Senate would vote it down, but at least that way the Democrats would get the blame. Renegotiating the bill now gives the Democrats an out.

McCarthy did just fine, it’s really up to the voters next election cycle to remove the Democrats who will never cut anything, even if it’s complete BS and utterly nonsensical.

I’m sure I’m not alone in my disgust of flushing good tax money down the toilet for the funding of fish fart studies and other uses constituting fraud, waste, and abuse of the tax dollars that Congress is fiscally responsible for allocating towards the responsible needs of the Republic.

Pramila Jayapal’s Warnings About Debt Ceiling Speaks Further to Democrats in Disarray

Jayapal also spoke to wanting “to give the authority to the Treasury secretary to be able to just raise the debt ceiling in accordance with whatever Congress has passed,” making clear “it should just be raised automatically,” as she went on to declare “we should not allow people to continue to take us hostage.”

The Dirty Little Secret About the Biden-McCarthy Debt Ceiling Deal No One Has Addressed Yet LOTS OF LINKS.

The deal scraps $131 billion in cuts to return bureaucracy to pre-COVID levels in favor of keeping spending at the 2023 Omnibus spending bill. Work requirements are abandoned for Medicaid. Biden’s “Inflation Reduction Act,” which Goldman Sachs says costs $1.2 trillion, is retained. The REINS Act is abandoned. Biden’s unlawful student loan bailout is punted back to the courts. The IRS keeps its 87,000 new agents. You’ll hear about the $2 billion cut from the IRS this year, but that is from their proposed budget increase. It doesn’t cut that agency. The only bright light is that the deal claws back $29 billion in unspent COVID-19 baksheesh. Also, note that the two-year deal takes the debt ceiling off the table during an election year.

McCarty made one serious error about the debt negotiations; he should have spent time with Trump and got some important advice.
