The woke ‘Little Mermaid’ reboot completely bombed in reviews this weekend.
Disney’s live-action take on The Little Mermaid reportedly brought in $95.5 million globally in its three-day opening, according to Deadline.
However, the woke movie completely bombed in reviews – the bulk of the negative reviews were from overseas movie goers.
Critics blamed murky lighting and woke lyrics.
IMBD, Rotten Tomatoes and other online review-aggregation websites claimed online trolls are driving the bad reviews.
The bad reviews were actually tossed out in order to raise the final audience scores!
For example, IMBD said it published the “weighted vote averages” because not all votes are the same.
IMBD said: “Our rating mechanism has detected unusual voting activity on this title. To preserve the reliability of our rating system, an alternate weighting calculation has been applied.”

IMBD.com used to be a great site for film buffs until they were purchase by Amazon.
Now the site is an endless array of adverts and popups. I hate what it has become. Amazon ruined it.
They also removed the forums.

So I looked around, and one of the first movies that popped up was “The Year I Began Masturbating“.
And this morning, I came out, and my wife is watching some thing on Netflix that show the queen of England as black
It was completely bizarre.
And the whole Cleopatra thing too. “The Critical Drinker“ did a really funny, acid, and spot on review of Cleopatra.
It was a simple weighting system. White votes counted only 3/5 as much as black votes.

I have to laugh when I see comercials showing blacks permoting car Insurance or sales of cars.....obvious why.
For all those reasons and more-it seemed literally to me to be cultural sewer. I had been a customer of theirs for many years before they did streaming.

My wife used Netflix to watch some show about British royalty where one of the main characters was some black guy. When I asked if he was the Duke of Ellington, it took a few minutes for her to catch on and react.
Ha! He hated it for all the right reasons.
No, what is going to happen, droop, is that another bad movie, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, is going to drown Ursula this coming weekend. *thwip*
