I will argue that the Republicans have made a strategic decision not to fight this battle that they will ultimately lose when the government shuts down.

Stop it how? They've given the commies everything they really want; they've been told to make like they're oh so disappointed as they go to vote in favor of it. Even with zero Republicans voting for it, it will pass. That's how big a screw job it is.

The Republicans can vacate the chair or whatever but that's not a big deal. The commies have gotten what they want and McCarthy has proven that he is one of them and not one of us, and always has been.
