I wish I had one of these stores near me. I never stole anything from anyone before. I might make an exception for this store so I can help it go bankrupt faster. Maybe I would advertise it to other people so I don’t have to destroy my morals.
People donβt realize how precious a high-trust society is, until it is gone.
Middle-class houses typically have razor wire along their high walls and gates, bars on all the windows, etc. etc.
Supermarkets have employees watching you as you shop, eager to help you find what you’re looking for but also making sure you don’t put anything in your pocket.
The big difference, of course, is the law down there is openly on the side of the store and home owner as opposed to the situation in many American cities.
The only way this anarchy ends is with security guards hopped up on caffeine sitting behind a mini gun and a license to thrill.
Sounds like a great company to work for. Steal whatever you want and help yourself to the register when you need cash. Just don't call the cops.
Must be homos running the business.
"After viewing video of all the robberies at our stores we noticed something common in virtually all the robbers. As a progressive business, and in the interests of racial justice, we decided to not prosecute the robbers as there are too many of them in prison already."
It does make it harder to stay in business, but racism!
We’re past the point of no return.
I forget where this was at now, but there was the little pizza place that had a pool table in it. I would go in there sometimes to play pool by myself. I would never see any customers come in at all. Yet they were able to stay in business. I would always wonder how they managed to do so. One day I went there & they were closed. Learned later that they ran a drug distribution operation out of there, and they were finally busted.
I think it must have been in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Oh well, not important. π
That is inaccurate-Lululemon’s stuff is just regular athletic clothing-but it is 3x more expensive than the same athletic clothing is at any 12 other stores-or online outlets at Amazon, etc-you are just paying for the La-de-da label. Apparently, their business plan supports providing free items to thieves who sell stolen goods as well-that is not a profitable long-term strategy...
That scene is in a Dirty Harry movie, I believe.
I had few nasty-looking characters come into the store late at night, but my look must have warned them that I could and would shoot. No thefts while I was working there.
I had the same suspicions about a neighborhood restaurant. It had odd hours. Dinner only. Wondered how they kept their doors open.
they’re insurance rates should skyrocket....they are not even attempting to prevent stolen merchandise...and then they’ll have the audacity to cry about shop lifting and how its hurting the bottom line and THAT’S why the prices must go up....
Good to hear their policy is not to call the police. Likely that has already made the rounds in places that would be interested. The doors are open folks, have at it.
The looters were black
The employees were uppity, law abiding whites
Keeping your employees from calling the police to report a crime sounds a lot like aiding and abetting to me.
The ex employees are far better off. They are now safe.
One day robbers will show up and kill the employees of the store.
Fired two employees that confronted masked robbers.
Bosses inside job gone bad?.
Not saying that is what was going on in your instance.
Mine finally closed the restaurant at night. Since I am not in the market to hire a catering service, I don't know if that portion still operates.
They had great food, but I live in a small town. The food industry has lots of failures for every success. It's a tough business to succeed in, and many factors play a role in the outcome, as I'm sure you know.
Lululemon had an horrific murder of one employee to another several years ago.
