With just a few words and a slickly produced piece of military propaganda, the commander in chief of Ukraine’s armed forces ratcheted up speculation that a long-awaited counteroffensive by Kyiv against Russia’s occupying forces could be imminent.
“The time has come to take back what is ours,” said the official, Gen. Valerii Zaluzhyni.
The minute-long video features Ukrainian troops marching, training and apparently preparing for battle.
Some are seen using German tanks and American artillery and rocket launchers – the type of armaments Kyiv would use in a potential operation to push Russian forces out of Ukrainian territory.

With the right equipment and intelligence AND dry ground, the ukes should slice through the rus lines like the US sliced through Saddam Hussein’s lines in Kuwait in 1991.

Cant be an offensive. Just remember mcgregor,larry johsnson and our Fr peoplep all say ukrainian army has been destroyed in bahkmut in the greatest military victory in history. Even bigger than the great russian winter offensive a few months ago(wait till the ground freezes)
For 6 months he counterattack has been “imminent.”
The attack has been over hyped to a point that anything but a victory will be seen as a defeat. I believe it is being set up to pull in NATO-USA into the conflict. In Iraq the USA dominated the air—The Ukraine doesn’t have control of the sky. Each day Russians get better at war fighting and dig in deeper. We shall see what happens BUT If I was Mr. Z I would think of a way to get direct US help because without it he’s doomed.

pregosian said he expects the ukes to take the south. I don’t think he believes that the ukes will take crimea.
so there are two parts. minimum ukes need to claim victory is the south but not crimea. that’s also the maximum loss the russians can take and still believe they are ahead of the game. Putin could stay in power if at the end of the fall the rus still control crimea.
As far as I know, the ukes don’t have air superiority yet.

but the ukes are also killing anything that flies, any and all equipment and munitions, fuel and knocking out rus electronic intelligence gathering assetts.
if the stories about precisions strikes in meripopal, and melitopol are true, then the ukes have their supporters all over the south of ukraine. that means that the rus have no ability to hide anything.
in any case the pace of the air attacks on the rus are increasing.

There is no information source that is believable. I would trust Mr. O’keefe were he to go here and find stuff out but not much of anyone else.
