Under DeSantis and previous Republican Governors before him, they turned Florida into a model state for how elections should be run and somehow you pick this topic to criticize DeSantis.

BTW, your characterization of the entire episode comes into question based on this article, in fact you have it entirely wrong.

Apparently you missed my comment on this thread, that the reason DeSantis was able to get things through the State Legislature during his first term as Governor was that he's had a more than 2-1 Republican majority in both Houses of the State Legislature. Since 1994 in the Florida Senate, and 1996 in the Florida House, Republican have been in control of both Houses of the Florida State Legislature. That's why things have been allowed to get done. If he didn't have those majorities, he, and every Republican Governor before him would do shit.
