Apparently you missed my comment on this thread, that the reason DeSantis was able to get things through the State Legislature during his first term as Governor was that he's had a more than 2-1 Republican majority in both Houses of the State Legislature. Since 1994 in the Florida Senate, and 1996 in the Florida House, Republican have been in control of both Houses of the Florida State Legislature. That's why things have been allowed to get done. If he didn't have those majorities, he, and every Republican Governor before him would do shit.

When it comes to election results, you might have missed that under DeSantis, Florida redrew the congressional districts which allowed Florida to have 20-8 Republican Majority.
He also won by nearly 20% and over 1 million votes, which indicates to me the citizens of Florida approved of the job he was doing.
Read the article. There is a difference between state economic policy and national economic policy, especially in the foreign arena.
Trump had a majority in both houses of Congress for his first 2 years and got very little done except a tax cut that will expire soon.
