“FDA is starting with chickens and working its way up to horses.
It’s all about human using IVERMECTIN paste”
I came to the same conclusion.
His refrigerator was filled with vials of drugs for the cattle he was raising............
“I can kinda understand this...”
I’m sure that many of those who have never farmed will cheer the regulation. They have no idea the daily treatments that farmers give their animals and the medications they keep on hand. Most farmers keep a refrigerator in their barn for the medications that need cooling. They also keep syringes, tubing, sharp scalpels, etc. The worming medications they add to animal’s water on a regular basis is expensive enough without having to pay a vet for the prescription.
Then there is the eye infection meds and the skin infection creams that they must use to immediately treat animals once a problem is noticed. If they don’t, the infection will spread to their entire herd. Farmers will spend a couple days a week contacting their vet if this is allowed.
Get ready for food prices to go up once more.
“When chickens are sick”...you dispatch it and add a healthy chicken to your flock! ;)
Oy! These people!
Not that I HAVE any animals here at The Funny Farm, but if I DID, I’d continue to do as much of the ‘doctoring’ as I can with OTC drugs, though we DO have an AMAZING Vet who has become a Family Friend.
She just diagnosed my Beagle this week. He was acting ‘hinky’ (which is hard to spot in a Beagle!) and she diagnosed him BEFORE the X-rays were done. We’ll still have him for a while IF we’re lucky, but he wasn’t getting FAT, he was growing an oversized Spleen, Pancreas and Liver. :(
We NEED Vets but we also need the FREEDOM to take care of ourselves and our charges WITHOUT GOVERNMENT INTERFERENCE!
I do so loathe Government at ALL levels. *SPIT*

How many Americans worm their own cats & dogs??>?
I just looked, the local TSC has it at $10.50 a tube.
It was $4 a tube in November 2020 when I bought my first stash.
They couldn’t kill us with the vaccine so now they’ll starve us. They want us dead either way.
Yes.
And cause mass starvation.
The FDA can KMA!
Come work on my ranch for a couple of months. You’ll change your mind.
Yep. What I would do is to never call a vet, almost ever. Unless the Vet was a good and trusted friend. Pinko government makes criminals out of regular citizens all over the world. Grr...
Time to defund the Federal Government ASAP. Come on Republicans, fight the Bastards.
CFW: : “This starts in June of this year.
Some have suggested that this is a move to keep people from buying Ivermectin, which has been shown in studies to improve COVID symptoms.
It doesn’t matter why they did it; the bigger problem is that no federal agency should be able to institute any sweeping federal mandate
without input from the people it affects.
This is tyranny.”
CFW continues (From the article) :

“But NOW, the unelected, unaccountable, faceless, nameless, power-hungry monarchs at the FDA have decided that none of our farmers,
ranchers, or hobbyists will be allowed to have those medicines anymore without visiting the vet for a prescription.
This will cost the farmers tens of thousands of dollars a year in added vet bills, which they will then pass onto the consumer,
forcing prices even higher during a time of record inflation. “

"Ranchers should prepare now for 2023 animal antibiotic guidelines
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) released new antibiotic guidance pertaining to animal drugs containing medically-important antimicrobials
for use in companion and food production animals that are currently approved for over-the-counter (OTC) marketing.
Under the guidance, FDA stated several antibiotics familiar to ranchers and other livestock owners will no longer be available OTC.
"The intent of the new antibiotic guidance is to ensure animal drugs that contain antimicrobials important for humans
are not being overused or used incorrectly, said Texas Farm Bureau (TFB) Associate Director of Commodity and Regulatory Activities Tracy Tomascik."
(My opinion) - : Yeah, we can't have any survivors during the next viral plandemic, just because they have medication access,
and show up the NAID/FDA/CDC medical protocols for the B.S. that they were/are.
Control freaks is what they are, and they intended for you to remain ignorant of alternative medications, or international medications that had been successful "Off Label".
And the FDA had knowledge of alternative medications which had been successful in India,
but then they called in the Kancel Kulture to mock any alternative protocol other than their own."
You can talk about 'arbitrary and capricious' decisions, but this one takes the cake for ignoring the will and input of those who will, or might be affected.
This is a classic case of "Federal over-reach" without legislation, or even input or consent by those affected.
This is not just about animal husbandry since many people and neighbors survived the covid pandemic by virtue of alternative medication, or by Ivermectin, thus averting the viral infection and/ or hospitalization.
Remember, the Federal government paid a bonus to the hospitals for covid deaths during hospitalization. Don't forget that little tidbit !!
I can kinda understand this, to this... “will cheer the regulation. “
That kind of a stretch is childish. off with you...
I certainly didn’t say that YOU would cheer the regulations.
You misquoted me. I said “some” will cheer it. I then explained the things those that would do so did not understand about self-vetting for farmers.
You took offense as if I was attributing that stance to you.
You are the one being childish by accusing me of something I didn’t do.
The fact that humans can transport disease is not out of the realm of possibility. I'm by no means cheering the regulation, but, can picture some farm hand working with a few thousand herd, going back and forth to his house that has a few mangy ass unhealthy beasts roaming around. couldn't he transport something unhealthy back to the healthy lot??
My words were exactly that... I KINDA UNDERSTAND...
..and it surprises me that a couple superstars who scooted to the edge of their seats to pounce on me are dismissing this possibilty without a second thought..
you quoted me man so how the hell else was I supposed to take it??
