The world is upside down. Oath Keepers founder Stewart Rhodes, who was unarmed, peaceful, and never entered the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, was just sentenced to 18 years in prison for “seditious conspiracy.” Meanwhile, soft-on-crime Democrats continue to reduce prison sentences and penalties for violent criminals — and a man who shot a pro-lifer received nothing but community service.
Fox 28 reported on May 23 that 75-year-old Richard Harvey, who “pleaded no contest to shooting an 84-year-old woman” campaigning for the pro-life cause, received a very light sentence indeed. Harvey has to complete 100 hours of community service, “a suspended jail sentence of two months and a delayed sentence of one year on probation.” Just imagine if Joan Jacobson had been a BLM protestor or a pro-abortion activist instead of a pro-lifer. Would Harvey, like Stewart Rhodes, be facing jail time?

Man who killed Ashli Babbitt got a medal.......disgusting
“India-born US District Judge Amit Mehta had some tough words for Stewart Rhodes before he sentenced the founder of a far-right anti-government militia for his efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election that ended with the violent attack on the US Capitol.”

I hope an appeal was filed
It’s called “tyranny”.
The “judge” told Rhodes that just because someone doesn’t like the guy who won the election there was no excuse to try to overturn that election. But, isn’t that exactly what the Media-Dem Party was doing for 4 years, even resorting to inciting nationwide rioting? The “judge” apparently has been living under a rock somewhere since 2016.
There’s a fundamental difference between the two accused that illustrates an important distinction that the Federal administration and their complicit politicians have made in prosecuting their war against American citizens. The left wing radical groups mostly looted and burned private commercial property in their protests. The damage they caused was of little concern to the bureaucrats. It wasn’t their problem as it didn’t have any impact on their own political agendas.
But Jan 6 was an in-your-face confrontation right on the front doorsteps of their home turf. In their eyes, that was a severe threat to their authority that had to be swiftly squashed. Their subsequent and continuing reaction to the so-called insurrection became a propaganda tool to further their repression against normal citizens. And their continued aggressive rhetoric against honest citizens is their dire warning that any attempts to oppose them will be met with the full force that they wield.
HOW are we to FIGHT these CORRUPT people in the DOJ?? HOW? I think we are too far gone.
Michael Byrd got a Medal, a promotion, an apartment for him and his dog at a MILITARY BASE! OMG!!
Where was Harvey given his “Get Out Of Jail Free” card? (City, state ?)
YEP. The swamp and especially the democrats want their enemies, us, dead. If they can’t outright shoot us they will have their terrorist front groups do it for them. And if they can’t, they will disappear us in a prison never to be seen from again.
My one big hope for a GOP presidential win is that all the Jan 6th prisoners be pardoned. I don’t have much hope for appeal because of the venue. I think an appeal would have to be made on how broadly seditious conspiracy has been defined. Because history and common sense surely did not mean that term to apply to protesting grievances even within the capitol building.
bkmk
...and the man that shot Ashli Babbitt?
A review of the LAST time seditious conspiracy was charged and convicted in US history-— like when— John Adams and the Alien & Seditions Act which cost him his Presidency== as he worked closely with the Hamiltonians who stayed in his cabinet from George Washington.
Hmm...
