Nope, I know what a Pyrrhic victory is. Take some time to understand how Russia fights war. Forgive me as I do not recall the Russian term for it but basically they follow a drawn out engagement tenet, wear the opponent down.
The west prefers a quick win and this is not happening in Ukraine. Given all the western media declarations of how Russia is “losing” and instead they take a major strategic city, one would at least be wise to consider perhaps it is not as our media presents it.
Or put another way Occam’s Razor might apply here. The simplest explanation may be the right one, Russia is not losing near as much as we are being told, if at all.
There seems to be a lot of special pleading and strained logic used in explaining how Ukraine is crushing the Russian forces and at the same time losing ground to Russia at every turn.
This is what they resort to, as they’re demonstrably incapable of fighting more effectively.
If you honestly believe they intended to invade Ukraine and loses thousands of vehicles, to the point they’re refurbishing 70 year old tanks to put on the front line, you’re deluded.
This is the best they can do. Advance 3km in 9 months of brutal fighting. Look at the map from March 2022 and tell me how you think the Russians have performed since then:
How does one objectively review the reverses they’re suffered in the field since March of 2022? Can you imagine if, a few months into the invasion of Iraq, the US was dusting off Korean War era tanks to ship to the front lines? That’s why this ends at best as a Pyrrhic victory for Putin as he watches his military get incinerated.
I would think the Russ fanbois would be disturbed seeing the need for T-55s by Russia, but they seem immune to rational observation.
