Nope, I know what a Pyrrhic victory is. Take some time to understand how Russia fights war. Forgive me as I do not recall the Russian term for it but basically they follow a drawn out engagement tenet, wear the opponent down.

This is what they resort to, as they’re demonstrably incapable of fighting more effectively.

If you honestly believe they intended to invade Ukraine and loses thousands of vehicles, to the point they’re refurbishing 70 year old tanks to put on the front line, you’re deluded.

This is the best they can do. Advance 3km in 9 months of brutal fighting. Look at the map from March 2022 and tell me how you think the Russians have performed since then:

How does one objectively review the reverses they’re suffered in the field since March of 2022? Can you imagine if, a few months into the invasion of Iraq, the US was dusting off Korean War era tanks to ship to the front lines? That’s why this ends at best as a Pyrrhic victory for Putin as he watches his military get incinerated.

I would think the Russ fanbois would be disturbed seeing the need for T-55s by Russia, but they seem immune to rational observation.

The problem I have is believing anything the media you are now quoting is accurate. If you recall Russia had no chance of taking Bakhmut yet they have. There was supposed to be a Ukraine Spring offensive but there hasn’t.

Why do so many find it so hard to have at least a little bit of healthy skepticism and entertain the notion not all is as it is portrayed?
