Yevgeny Viktorovich Prigozhin is a Russian oligarch and a close confidant of Russian president Vladimir Putin. Prigozhin is sometimes called “Putin’s chef”, because he owns restaurants and catering companies that provide services for the Kremlin.
The FBI noted that Prigozhin has ties to Russia, Indonesia, and Qatar and should be considered an international flight risk. He is also believed to be a founder of the Wagner Group, a private paramilitary group that recently deployed 400 troops with the mission of assassinating Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Nothing from the WaPo over the past twenty years sounds like factual journalism to me.

Funny I recall the compost telling us just a few weeks ago Russia was loosing miserably and Ukraine was going to start the new super secret spring offensive and crush Russian forces.
Now the new story is the Russian victory is actually a defeat, ya nothing says losing like winning.

Wagner Group: 20,000 Troops Have Died Taking Bakhmut
In a video interview posted on Telegram late Tuesday, the head of the Russian paramilitary group Wagner said that 20,000 of his troops had been killed in the battle for Bakhmut.
Not going to happen. Putin has an 80% favorability in Russia. Love or hate him.

Prigozhin: We fought in Bakhmut against superior forces, destroyed about 50,000 Ukrainian Armed Forces and wounded up to 70,000

▪️ The PMC in Artyomovsk had 50,000 people at its best, and the Armed Forces of Ukraine - 82,000, and the ratio for the assault should be 3 to 1 for the attackers.
▪️During the operation, I chose 50,000 prisoners, 20% of them died, another 20% were injured.
