Ending months of speculation, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis declared his presidential candidacy Wednesday, setting up a seismic clash with former President Donald Trump for GOP supremacy.

A more formal announcement is expected to follow at 6pm, when DeSantis is appearing in a Twitter Space with Elon Musk.

I was not a businessman who needed to get along with everyone in NYC (lots of liberals in NYC).
The truth about the foundation & about Hillary & Haiti was not known then. Trump foundation gave to many charities & gave to the Clinton foundation on that basis. The gift to the CF was a very small % of the donations the Trump Foundation made and it was not made to a political campaign but to a charity.
If you want to say that Trump’s Foundation did not research each foundation they gave $ to you are probably correct. They were however & still are very generous to people in need and the organizations that help those people.

100%. One reason is thatDonald Trump ended constant wars which enriched the defense industry and all the politicians who get kickbacks. Contrast that with Biden who didn't waste anytime.

There are lots of businessmen in NYC. How many gave $100k to Hillary Clinton? The bottom line is Trump doesn’t care much about policy and that’s why he donated money to Hillary. Trump’s sycophants can continue to airbrush his history but the facts speak for themselves.
