Haley says she’d sign abortion ban, but more Republicans are needed in Congress

GOP presidential candidate and former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley said Wednesday she would sign a federal abortion ban into law if she were president, but dismissed the possibility of such a ban materializing, noting it was unlikely to get the necessary 60 votes to pass the Senate.

Haley’s comments are the clearest answer she has provided her abortion position since she launched her campaign in February, becoming the only woman in the primary field so far.

“No one has been honest” about how difficult a ban would be to achieve, Haley said at St. Anselm College in Manchester, N.H., on Wednesday, The Associated Press reported.

She’s really trying to get women amped up again about abortion and vote in high numbers for the DEMs. Trojan horse.

Four more years of this Federal government with a Deep State puppet as the figurehead and people will be too busy surviving to get amped up about whether or not there will be an abortion ban.

Yes, its that serious. Instead, we get more more RINO games.

Nikki Haley has no rudder. She will say whatever gets her elected. I say that as someone who has had her as Governor.

Bans, mandates, confiscations, deceptions — that’s Democrat talk. Begone, thee.

A smart candidate would dismiss the very question as nonsensical, since the Supreme Court has ruled this is a state matter, so Congress has no authority to pass any such ban.

Nikki’s not a smart candidate.

Now I heard that she going to do a CNN town hall. Unlike Trump she will do great damage to the Republican party. Probably all part the plan.

Rudderless and completely useless. She is her worst enemy. She bites the hand that feeds her and then echos the same weak character as most politicians. So in order to condemn abortion she has to have a backup of like-minded congressmen. Yes, and I will sing a solo if the Mormon Tabernacle choir will sing backup.

Where would the Federal abortion ban apply? DC? The 50 states would still decide for themselves. Or maybe Nikki Haley is dimwitted?

“ She will say whatever gets her elected”

Saying something negative about abortion isn’t it.

Esta mierda otra vez? The Supreme Court has finally ruled that laws pertaining to abortion are up to each state because the Constitution says so-STATES rights-not fed laws. It took nearly 50 damn years for states to get that ruling-for those states that are against infanticide-so STFU, Nikki-what part of we don’t want any more fed interference don’t you get? Does she want us to keep financing Ukraine like the other Rinos and neocons, too?

The Supremes rightly relegated this issue back to the States as ought to have been the case with Roe.

What kind of ‘conservative’ wants to expand Federal power not enumerated in the Constitution?

No, this is not a Federal issue. We worked 50 years to get it back to the states and she wants to federalize it all over again. Plus giving the Dems a huge club to bash Republicans with.
