Jimmy Carter has always said he’s a born again Christian.
Maybe it’s not too uncommon, then.

Whatever anyone may think of his politics and his Presidency, Jimmy Carter will be in heaven with his Lord, not because of Jimmy, but because of Jesus--the same as it is with everyone who is saved by the blood of Christ. (see tagline)

Generally, since Medicare funds Hospice, there are limits to how long they will cover Hospice services. If someone in Hospice continues to live past a certain amount of time, that person will come out of Hospice. But as far as I know, there isn’t a limit on how many times a person can enter Hospice care. My dad’s Hospice team told us that they had seen people come in and out of Hospice care several times.
Also, my dad’s nurse told us that when someone in Hospice falls, that automatically keeps them in Hospice even if they are having a rally or a plateau and everything else seems fine.
Our two experiences with Hospice have both been Godsends. Each time, the support, kindness, professional care, and one-on-one counseling really helped us through the deaths of my mother-in-law and my dad. I will always be grateful.

Carter was a seriously evil anti semite that always looked for ways to harm Israel.
Perhaps in the past I may have taken severe issue with Carters politics, however as things stand today he would be 10,000 times better than the current illegit evil demented meat puppet fraudster mascerading
as a president and I would be grateful to have him back.
Plus, he hated Ted Kennedy, and Bill Clinton. It’s funny in the end Clinton and Nixon became buddies, while Carter and Clinton feuded with each other.
You’re right in that Carter was no great friend of Israel. But here’s the way I see it. A person can do an evil deed, but not himself be evil. An example of that might be someone who helps a mass murderer escape from the police. The deed is evil. But the person is not necessarily evil.
That’s the way I see Carter with many things.

Yes, best wishes to Carter and his family. Time to respect and cherish these last days. Remarkable example he’s setting that others might emulate (thinking of Feinstein, Fetterman, Biden,...)

The few people I have known to use hospice services only got a drive by days before they died.
He’s driving to the afterlife at 55 mph.
Coworkers………… I’m glad I’m retired. Most of the people I worked with over the years were pretty decent and down to earth.
But at every place I worked, there was always that one guy…….🙄
