Chief Washington Examiner political correspondent Byron York charted a hypothetical path to the Republican nomination for newly announced 2024 presidential candidate Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC).
"This is the kind of candidacy that's not just going to burst on the polls and all of a sudden he’ll be in second place next week," York said Monday on Fox News. "It’s the kind of candidacy that you visit Iowa a lot, and good news, good word starts spreading around you.
"They say good things about you and, after a while, you just start rising in the most important first contest," he continued.

In case you missed it, Lindsey Graham has endorsed Trump. As for York, wining the Iowa Caucuses in January means little. I recall the following winners in Iowa: 1980 - GHW Bush, 2008 - Huckabee, 2012 - Santorum, 2016 - Cruz.

Trump will sweep IA, NH, SC, and NV probably with over 50 percent of the vote in each, after which some of the candidates will suspend their campaigns. He may even sweep all 14 states on Super Tuesday. Of course, they say 30 days in politics is a lifetime, and we are still several lifetimes away from any voting.
I guess Scott could possibly win the Republicrat nomination. if the oligarchs & party bosses think it will make the media like them better.
